Great place for a quick bite.
This location serves a great need in Corolla for a solid place to take the family to for ice cream. It’s Dairy Queen so of course you know it but don’t expect all the regular stuff you might get at your local location. Based on the nature of OBX, it can get absolutely packed in here sometimes with large families so it can move slow.

The Dairy Queen Store offers standard ice cream quality, with the exception of one friendly employee. The location is somewhat hard to find, and the storage room door was left open, but other than that, it's a good Dairy Queen. They do not serve food at this location, but the blizzards and dipped cones are a hit. The staff is accommodating and friendly, especially with kids. While prices are a bit high, the ice cream is good and the service is pleasant, making it a decent spot for a treat.
