midori sushi & hibachi

I've been here about a half dozen times or so. The servers seem to come and go as most restaurants do but they seem to train well and they're always so sweet and know the menu fairly well. The food is always spot on and we're never disappointed. Despite the smaller interior, we've never had a wait no matter the time of day. It's definitely the better sushi spots we have been to and we LOVE our sushi. They don't use too much rice, the fish is always fresh, and the pieces are just right. Consistency is key when you go to a sushi place and they are consistent every time!

I am deeply shaken by my experience at this location. I came through the drive-thru and was immediately met with a condescending tone and dismissive attitude. The cashier racially profiled me, making me feel singled out and disrespected.

What made it worse was how my order was handled: I was told to park, and instead of receiving it by hand like the customer before me, my food was thrown onto a table in the parking lot. This treatment was humiliating and completely unacceptable.

Very fresh and delicious rolls! Little rice and more ingredients, just as it supposed to be! I’d recommend getting Sxy lady and Midori rolls for sure if you don’t like imitation crab.

They have the best spicy tuna roll I have ever had it’s amazing staff is amazing and really nice great prices and their hibachi is to die for always love going to midori very good service and some of the best tasting food

Definitely not what was expected... odd music. Service was good food was way to salty I ordered a ribeye stake and scallops and was expecting a actual ribeye stake.. Not a chopped up stake. Scallops were decent just to much salt vegetables were over salted too. The rice is what caused the review. The rice was bad it tasted as it were stored for a long time in the fridge or freezer they claimed it was fresh. I seen the microwave in the kitchen on my way out. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and won't be coming back.

We met friends for lunch on Sunday after church and everything was really delicious. The restaurant was very clean and smelled good. They greeted us warmly and seated the 4 of us right away. They brought sushi appetizers that were fresh and delicious and timely. I had hibachi chicken and vegetables with fried rice and the portions were huge! I had enough to take leftovers home and ate them for dinner the following day. My friends ate teriyaki shrimp and rice with vegetables and steamed edamame - all tasted very good. Cooked to perfection and served at the right temperature. We were all pleased and full and happy to have found such a nice place to eat tucked away between Huntersville and Concord. We highly recommend Midori Sushi & Hibachi!

Recommended dishes: Soup, Hibachi Steak and Shrimp

This was a take out sushi order. We ordered 4 rolls, all off the basic roll menu, gyoza, seaweed salad, and miso soup. We received no wasabi or ginger with our sushi, which was disappointing, but we didn't discover it until we'd driven home. Worse though, I ordered a roll that was listed has containing salmon, cucumber, and avocado on the menu. It came with all of that, and cream cheese. I hate cream cheese in sushi and never would have ordered that roll if it had been described accurately. I double checked on the website, and there was no cream cheese in the roll description.

The other rolls we ordered and the gyoza were perfectly fine. The quality was not an issue. I'm just still hungry because I didn't get to eat the roll I'd ordered for myself and my kids had already eaten the other rolls before I discovered mine was inedible.

Please fix your online order forms so rolls are described accurately, with all the ingredients.

Sushi didn't taste fresh. Service was slow, and the server made jokes about their incompetence. Had our soups come out after we were done eating our sushi.
