Went for a late lunch and was seated at a booth because it was too cool outside to enjoy a view. I ordered a "wedge like" salad and a shrimp poor boy. The flat single piece of uncrumbled bacon was an immediate "oh no." I had to work hard to cut that pathetic strip into a few pieces as it was rock solid. Lettuce is lettuce and it was crisp enough, but there was not much to the salad part. On to the poor boy. It was tasty and filling, but not the best I have ever had either. Just sort of average. By the way the Bloody Mary was about 50% alcohol. I like my drink to be flavorful with a bit of lemon tang and Worcestershire in addition to a good amount of tomato juice. This was not that. I may be unusual, but if I want my vodka straight I will ask for it.

On a positive note, the food was amazing - very fresh, flavorful…the outside seating is beautiful.
What they can improve: service. Speed of Service is something that can be looked over when restaurants are short staffed/busy etc…attitudes and lack of manners, however, is inexcusable. If I ask for a new menu because there’s a dead spider in it, “it happens because we’re outside” isn’t the appropriate response. No apology, nothing but condescending glares. Additionally, we were given same menu, with the same dead spider.
We requested a new server and the rest of the meal went on splendidly. Basic manners go a long way.

A beautiful location for tasty casual food. I had a shrimp po boy, and the shrimp were fresh and tasty, with great fries. My spouse had the grown up grilled cheese accompanied by inventive asparagus fries.

Outdoor seating does not require reservations and at first was advised that the wait would be about 30 minutes but was actually only 10 minutes at the most. Nice table overlooking the harbor, light refreshing breeze, good food at reasonable prices…so relaxing. I can only imagine the atmosphere after dark must be magical. Will definitely go back the next time I’m in the area.

What a treat for our family! We had a wonderful view of the lake and an amazing dinner!!! The people were very nice and welcoming! The seafood was delicious and they have big portions! I highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion!
