Awesome place, as I'm sure locals already know. Food and service was terrific. Timing is everything here, as it is small and can fill up quickly. But, it is definitely worth waiting for.
I got a Carolina dog which was decent but I thought red onions instead of white was a little strange and I did have to pull a piece of onion skin out but over-all a decent dog. My friend got a chili cheese dog and he said it was pretty good. We both wished the cottage fries were more well done but we were glad we tried them. The prices seemed a little steep for hot dogs but that could be location based. Overall I wouldn’t mind eating here again. The servers were nice enough...
Despite the tiny size, this place has a big personality! The decor was fun and very small-town-diner-esque. There was a toy bin for restless kids - and our kids definitely made use of this! The food was top tier diner fare with your basic grilled cheese, hot dogs, and burgers, but the homemade fries & chips were quite yummy. The ice cream was a big winner - kids sundaes were well-loved and a chocolate malt was perfection. My kids have been asking to go back all week!
