Last night was our first time there. Our waitress seemed to ignore us and took at least 20 minutes before she approached our table and took our drink order. She came back 15-20 minutes later to clarify our drinks. For some reason my husbands ordering a Sam Adams really threw her off. It took forever for our appetizer of calamari to come our as we watched tables that had been seated after us get their drinks and food. When our food finally arrived it was a disappointment. My husband said his Reuben was ok but I had ordered the Cuban. We moved here from Florida so I know a good Cuban and the chef needs to go to Florida to learn how to make one. It was dry, tasteless and overdone. This place is 10 minutes from our home but we will not be going there again. It's a waste of money.

We went there for Father's Day. Made our reservations ahead of time and had no issue with being seated. Service was slow but not bad enough to complain. There were 5 of us and we did not eat slowly but did have to wait 15 minutes before appetizers were served and then another 15 minutes or so for the meals to arrive. Again, we were not complaining. Then the server dropped off out check and said we needed to leave because they had more people scheduled. (Several tables at this point are empty!) we were not hanging out longer after the meal, did not even have coffee afterwards. Basically, ate and told time to go! Should have been told our reservation allotted us only one hour!

We come here a decent amount and that's why the review isn't 1 star...normally the food and service are kept at a decently high standard. Last night was the worst dining experience I've had over the last few years. The restaurant was maybe 50% full, guessing due to staffing issues (understandable, but everyone is dealing with that). Took 15 minutes to get our drinks, which didn't make a lot of sense considering they were just beers. The appetizers were good (as usual, again this was just a bizarre night). The major issues started to happen with the entrees...my wife ordered the red grouper, $26. Came out absolutely raw in the center, which tells me it's frozen. Waitress took it back, didn't apologize or anything, and just began to walk away. We stopped her and asked if my wife could get something else, she rolled her eyes and said sure. Salmon came out 15 mins later, teetering on raw again but edible. We needed another set of silverware since the first ones were taken away with the grouper, waitress said no problem and then immediately went to the computer and proceeded to stand there for 5 mins. Need to prioritize tasks!!! I waited tables for years and this was pathetic, she had 3 total tables to deal with. We just grabbed a set from another table, since she never came back with any... Then we got to the bill...she had a 10 top that she was individually splitting, and spent 20 mins (not an exaggeration) at the computer attempting to split it, even as it was obvious that the two smaller tables were ready to leave. Eventually came over to both and said "hi their checks are going to take a while, I'll do yours now". Ended up bringing our checks (nothing was accurate but we just wanted to get out of there) and rolled her eyes again as we paid. Probably shouldn't be splitting 10 tops to begin with but that's just bad policy. It's very nice having a restaurant that we enjoy so close to home, but another visit like this and we won't ever be back.

5 course wine pairing special event top notch. Started with a Graham brut NV sparkling. App a trio of salmon croquettes with a side arugula salad and a nice Vouvray. Followed with a beef tartar and a nice chenin blanc. Main was a well prepared juicy chicken airline breast with a nice tomatoe reduction over a garbanzo/chorizo and red blend accompaniment. Dessert was a chocolate tart resting on a graham caramel drizzled cracker with a burnt mallow on top served with a marvelous rich inky black red. Staff was efficient and professional.

The Foundry is excellent! Great variety of food. They offer everything from steaks to seafood, pizza, sandwiches, salads, soup etc.. something for everyone. They have a full bar with many drink options. I had the pot roast served with mashed potatoes and fresh veggies. It was so tender and delicious. My husband had the millionaire burger served with crispy hot French fries. It was huge and he said it was one of the best burgers he's had. Save room for the "butter cake" for dessert. It is heavenly!

I live here in trilogy and decided to walk down to the foundry and have some lunch. So I haven't had the millionaire burger for a while and was craving it.I ordered it medium rare and it came out absolutely perfect.Great warm red in color and so juicy.I bit into that burger and was in burger paradise!! I have had many burgers around the Charlotte area but let me tell this was the best burger that I have ever had.I also had a side of French fries and they were awesome.Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and not greasy!I have lived here for five years and can honestly say that I have never had a bad meal or beverage from the foundry!! Went for dinner this weekend and sat at the bar. Food was delicious and service was great! Menu has a lot of nice variety. Macy is friendly and so knowledgeable about the menu! She was wonderful! It's in a community so you need to tell them at the gate you are going to the restaurant. We will definitely be back.

Good food. Beautiful restaurant facility. Did not realize it was a 55+ community. Enjoyed our visit.

I loved the ambiance of this place. I think this is a hidden gem since it's located in a 55+ community. However the prices of the food is fabulous and you get great value. This place is only two years old so the interior is very modern and looks like a hotel. The dining area has big booths that seat 7+ comfortably even though it was just the 2 of us. They have a bar area and I've never seen it get too full where you can grab a seat. They have a large alcohol selection and a good menu. We ordered a couple of appetizers, an entree each, and two desserts. I loved every single dish. I would definitely come back.

Stopped in here for a late lunch with friends and my goodness the service was good and food delicious. I had a peach belinni, crab dip, stir fry with salmon and the manager shared a cookie with us. Everything was absolutely awesome. I love this hidden gem

The food was delicious although initially the server was MIA. Once she got to us, she did a great job! We were not in any hurry so we were accepting of the service. The server was very apologetic & very sweet! We will definitely return!

We tried to eat here, but when we arrived we were told we did not have a reservation. We did, in fact, make a proper online reservation. Priscilla, who "greeted" us was rude and dismissive and made no effort to accommodate us. We will never go back.

Delicious food! Will definitely go back to try more from their menu! We went at an off time, around 3pm and the wait to be seated and then for our food seemed pretty long, considering it was empty. But the food made up for it. The seared ahi tuna appetizer was delicious and everyone was happy with their meals!

This place is amazing! The food is always good, the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great. I always get the house meatballs and they are delicious . It shows that they are an appetizer but the portion is huge, always enough for leftovers. The butter cake on the dessert menu is amazing. I get it every time. It is always just so good. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice place to eat.
