I ordered the salad special and added salmon to it, amazing! Our waitress Jennifer was really good, anticipating our needs!

We enjoyed our meal at the Foundry. The food was delicious and our server, Bailey, was delightful. We had guests joining us and they were impressed. Thank you all!

Great place to have a meal! Drinks well made and satisfying. The ambiance is great! My chicken was a bit more crispy than expected, but edible, it would've been nice if it were hot (temperature), perhaps ask the question do you want hot or cold chicken (accompanying salad)... I would recommend and return to try other items on menu.

Another great experience at the Foundry. Today we ate outside which is always a treat this time of the year. I tried the salmon which I have never had before as an add on to my farm salad. It was so delicious and quite an ample portion. I will definitely order it in the future. I am so grateful that we have such a lovely restaurant in our neighborhood. It truly sets this 55 + community apart from so many others.

We had family in town. I love that we are recognized and greeted! Our guests are always impressed by that. The only feedback is to check often for drink refills. Food is always great!

Beautiful, peaceful dinning experience. This place is so lovely, has great food and service. My husband and I come here for brunch but this time we came for dinner and it did not disappoint.

The Foundry is a beautiful venue in Trilogy Lake Norman. They have a new executive chef who has upped the flavors and quality of the menu. In nice warm weather, we always choose to eat outside on the patio

Once you find the entrance to the place, no signs even though the golf course numbers every hole, this hole is grossly noisy. Service was very slow. Got appetizers just before meal arrived. Failure to check back for satisfaction failed to bring bar orders and when trying to find the waitress guest had to leave the table and go find anyone. Finally the “manager” came to the table with no clue as to how things were going. $500 later, I paid the bill and we left

Parking: Handicapped parking gives way to preferred golf cart parking.

Kid-friendliness: Not so much. Too noisy. Can’t talk to each other nor can parents communicate.

The atmosphere and food is always outstanding. The wait staff is wonderful and the manager visits your table at least twice with a smile and to make sure everything is perfect. It's always a great night with great food

Lived here for 2 years and never had a good meal. Great staff, poor management and lousy food!

We stopped here on a trip for lunch. Each of our meals were a little lack luster. For the price, it should have been much better. I got the Tequila Chicken and it was OK but not worth $22. My husband got the Reuben and said it was average too. My son’s kid’s pizza lacked flavor too! The atmosphere is very nice though.

We thought the food was good. We ordered the wings, a salad special and the short rib. If we lived closer we would go back to try more.

we were really looking forward to dining at The Foundry after reading some positive reviews, but unfortunately, our experience was a letdown. The food simply didn’t live up to expectations. Our steaks were overcooked, completely missing the mark on how we had requested them. The frites came out cold, and the fish had a soggy texture that was unappealing. To make matters worse, the brisket sandwich wasn’t made to order and had to be sent back for a remake.

On a positive note, the wings were tasty and the chimichurri sauce was absolutely fantastic—definitely the highlight of the meal. It’s just a shame that such a beautiful restaurant couldn’t deliver on the quality of the food. The slow service only added to the disappointment. Overall, we left feeling quite dissatisfied and walked away feeling we paid far too much for a disappointing dinner. It’s safe to say we won’t be returning or recommending this restaurant to anyone.
