Great, picturesque little vineyard in the midst of a beautiful, winding labyrinth of country roads.I came here to pick some Chambourcin grapes and try the wine. I tried three whites and two reds, including the Chambourcin, and was blown away by the Traminette, the barrel-aged Chardonnay, and the Petit Verdot. The latter is a less-known grape despite being one of the original Bordeaux grapes, and it was a tannin bomb with loads of oaky goodness and a dark, inky, full body.The service...
A really great winery! We visit Haze Gray every time we are in North Carolina. Great wines and great people! Becky is the greatest, she recognized that I am hearing impaired and made sure I could understand what she was communicating. Really appreciate her and highly recommend a visit!
