“This took me back 40 years when I was in high school. Got the cheeseburger and fries. The burger was made from fresh ground beef, not some pre-packaged frozen meat by products like the majority of burger joints serve today. This was how hamburgers used to be and how they should be. Awesome place. Can’t wait to go back.”

“I've always loved going to diners ever since I was a kid growing up in Orlando Florida. So when I saw Tarts 50's Diner advertised on social media, I couldn't wait to give them a try. I thought it was a brand new business but apparently they are well established here in Dunn North Carolina but under new ownership. The food was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were very generous. The wait staff was friendly, courteous and attentive. I even had the opportunity to meet and speak with the owner. 10 out of 10 I definitely recommend!”

“We used Sherry’s for our wedding in July 2024 and everything was perfect! The cake was beautiful and delicious and everyone was so sweet. They also did a rush order cake for my sister in law whose original baker fell through the day of. That cake was also beautiful and tasted great! Couldn’t be happier!”

“Our oldest son got married this weekend and the first wedding cake we had from here a few years ago for our youngest son’s wedding was excellent so we of course came back here. The family and wedding party was so wrapped up in the day that it would not even have been picked up had they not reached out reminding us. I made it there about 20 minutes before they closed and they were awesome. I did not get names and being the dad I was just showing up following the directions of the bride but the gentleman inside ushered me right in and was ready to help. He showed me the cake to make sure all looked good and it looked fantastic! Could not believe the extremely reasonable price and being that it was a bride and groom cake only (separate desserts for the guests) they both said the taste and texture was perfect. Will recommend Inspirational Grounds to anyone they are awesome!”

“Great authentic Mexican food at a super reasonable price. The Al pastor tacos were phenomenal and the service was fast (I was in and out for lunch in 20 minutes). Why stop for fast food on 95 when you can swing through here and get better food for a better price?”

“This is a good steakhouse in Dunn without being too pricey. It is a little like stepping back in time, though I don't think that was their goal. Great steak, good salad bar, friendly server, and easy parking. We arrived, just when they opened for dinner and it felt like they might have a senior dinner hour. Didn't ask. “Cash only - we were visiting the area from out of town & the food did not disappoint! Only wish I had ordered a carne asada quesadilla instead of chicken, lol. If you have a fussy eater (like my stepson) request it with no salad - the lettuce & crema touch the food & some people don’t like that! Very delicious & picnic tables were pretty clean!”

“Love the familial atmosphere. It's a buffet place with good food. Can also order separately. The price is reasonable for the quantity and quality. Staff are observant for the foods that need replacing and waiters friendly and attentive (dont forget to ask for the hot sauce). In breakfast time, omelets are made to your liking (don't forget to tip).”

“Where to even begin!?

This was hands-down one of the best dining experiences my girlfriend and I have had in a long time. To start, we ordered the guacamole and chorizo dip for the table, and both were every bit as delicious as they sounded—absolutely bursting with flavor. I had a cocktail that, unfortunately, I can’t recall the name of, but my girlfriend had the Christmas Surprise cocktail, which was fun, festive, and incredibly tasty.

For my entrée, I had an incredible steak, chorizo, and barbacoa platter served on a bed of rice and beans. Every bite was a flavor explosion—it truly exceeded my expectations. While I can’t remember my girlfriend’s exact order off the top of my head, we both agreed the food was so good it left us planning our next visit before we even finished the meal.

The cocktails weren’t just delicious; they added a fun twist to the whole experience, and our server went above and beyond, answering all of my questions about the menu and drink options with patience and expertise.

Not only will we be returning, but we’ve also started a list of friends and family who we absolutely have to bring along so they can experience how amazing this place is too.

If I had one tiny critique, it would be that their menu isn’t fully updated online, which made it harder to remember the names of the incredible dishes we enjoyed. But honestly, that’s a small issue compared to how phenomenal everything else was.

“I've been visiting this place for over 20 years, and even though it seems the same over time, they've added certain very picturesque concepts, food, and themes. For some reason I'm not very keen on eating Chinese food, however this place seems really good to me and never makes me sick. If you're passing through or a local, visit them. I assure you, you won't be disappointed. And if you want to add something else for an extra cost, remember they also have crab legs and boba tea.”

“Probably the best place I have been to in Dunn since Zane's closed down. They are adding staff but sadly, not everyone can handle the volume they get sometimes. With the hours they are open and currently only 3 exceptional mixologists. Zach, Sam and EEEEEE, I don't know how they could be faster and still manage a simple conversation with a customer. Kitchen, servers, bartenders and owners. Keep up the awesome job and will soon all come to you.”
