First and last time going. We had family in from Texas, and went to boxcar - had a great time. One of the employees recommended this bar because they stayed open later. We walked in, and were like oh this a great dive bar by the look of it and how many patrons were at the bar. We sat at the bar, and had contact with a bartender (we later found out from security that she was “hungover”) who was extremely rude, and dismissive. She was much warmer with others at the bar, possibly because they were regulars but even getting a beer from her was like pulling teeth because she could barely even face us when we were talking to her. The body language was horrible, and so was her energy. There was even a point where she threw the cash change back down in front of one of our family members, and I was in disbelief. Looking over my bank transactions and realized the waitress also wrote herself in a tip even though I didn’t tip and crossed out the tip on the slip. Definitely never coming back, and don’t recommend.

I really enjoyed it here. Beer was reasonably priced with a decent selection. Alcohol pours were as they should be. Chili dogs are available and the joint is dog friendly. Cool staff too.

We had a great time here, the whole place has a dive bar vibe to it. The only I took off a star is that they wouldn't allow outside food in because they are a "restaurant". I wouldn't consider the sale of hot dogs a restaurant unless you offered a variety that met dietary restrictions. My friend ordered food while I ate the hot dogs and when it got here was told she had to eat it outside.
