Such a great place to do a beer flight and get some yummy food. This collard green kimchi grilled cheese was AMAZING, and I washed it down with various beers in a 4 variety beer flight.
Fullsteam in Durham offers a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff, a wide selection of beers, and tasty food like smash burgers and tots. The Farmhouse Lager, Pilsner, and hazy IPA are popular choices. The spacious indoor and outdoor seating areas make it a great place to relax, and the outdoor space even features a covered area. Guests can bring in their own food and enjoy a variety of games or free books while sipping on their drinks. The brewery also offers a five-beer flight, which is larger than usual, with options like Coffee is for Closers, ADSR, Hard Frost, Carver, and Southern Basil—each very different and flavorful. The relaxed vibe, cute plants, murals, and good service create a fun environment. Visitors are advised that parking can be limited and costly due to nearby construction, but the experience is well worth it. Fans of fall and craft beer will enjoy the unique flavors, especially the coffee and basil beers. The brewery is planning to move to the American Tobacco Campus soon, so future visits might be to the new location.
