My daughter and I had reservations here last night before the Tina Turner concert. We were seated promptly in a perfect booth. Our waitress was Emma. She greeted us with a beautiful smile. We were first served with the delicious bread. We ended. Up getting several items. We got the ribs and the delicious slaw, brussel sprouts. Our waitress said the devil eggs were delicious so of course we wanted to try those. The flavor of everything was amazing. Emma assured us that our selections would be brought out as soon as they were ready so we would be on time for our concert. This was certainly a perfect experience for my daughter and I . Thank you Emma💓

A truly outstanding experience. The cocktails are great (Blood Orange Old Fashioned)! But dont sleep on the unique food. Im not the biggest beets fan, but the golden beets in the dish were terrific. The deviled eggs had a great spice and the Ricotta Gnocchi had such a unusually great sauce.

We really did eat in the alley. It might not be the largest menu, but it has a whole bunch of interesting things on it. In fact, my partner and I could not decide what to get so we got a whole bunch of dishes and shared them it is up there on one of the best burgers I’ve had in recent history. My partner really enjoyed the pork belly with kimchi and the deviled eggs are tasty. They make their own tonic and we had some gin and tonics. It was a fun overall experience.

One of the best places to eat in Durham and the bartenders are all impressive.

Fantastic burger- and every single appetizer was an absolute treat. Immensely high quality ingredients and inventive combinations and recipe make for an overall innovative and tasty dining experience. Good portion sizes and not too pricey for the quality and quantity of food you get.

Drinks were good, not great. Felt more dated than classic. I’d happily go back, but I’m excited to try other options in the area.

This used to be a great consistent restaurant but it has lost its pizzazz. Overpriced and not memorable.
