Drinks and food were lovely! I would especially like to highlight that everyone nailed the details. The host was very nice and the people behind the bar were on point. The bartender put a coaster on top of my wine glass with my last sip of wine while I used the restroom. My water glass was never empty. They labeled my to go boxes, I got fresh sauces in there and I got a cute note on my check. I see the work you all do and I greatly appreciate it.
Phenomenal burgers and steaks. Love the cocktails and the service is always great!
A total NOLA vibe. Great food and drinks!
Came here on a whim when they opened on Saturday and we were kindly greeted and sat at the bar. Service was efficient and prompt. Everything we ate was very flavorful and tasty, I defiantly recommend and would come back next time I am in Durham.
Required proof of vaccination. Never forget.
Loud, seated near the bar, hard to have a conversation.
The food is very good! High-quality fresh ingredients, well-prepared and thought-out meals. We ordered an IPA and Spiced Peach Mule for drinks, and I highly recommend the Mule. To start, we ordered the Butter + Salt and Fries. Very tasty! For main courses we ordered the Alley Burger and Fried Shrimp Roll, both with the side salad instead of fries, which was the best side salad I've had with a meal. Raves reviews for both! The service was fantastic. We were asked of any dietary restrictions before ordering, and accommodations were of ease. The atmosphere was intimate, trendy, with low lighting, and indoor/outdoor options for seating. Street parking is free on Sat/Sun and metered during the weekdays during the day. There's a garage nearby as well. Alley Twenty Six is a place I desire to visit anytime I travel Durham.
Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating. Uses soybean oil for fryer, but I was able to enjoy the fries with my mild allergy.
Parking: Street parking is on the same street as the restaurant. Free street parking on Sat/Sun, metered on weekdays. Parking garage on the same street as well.

Ryan and Rick were quite the duo. Service, food and wine were top shelf. I have confirmed that the burger is arguably the GOAT.

Absolutely love this place! Cocktails were delish. They actually make their own tonic, so their bartenders are a cut above. I got a Lemon-drop Martini which had the perfect balance of sweet and tart. We got the charcuterie board ...it was excellent. (In retrospect, I probably should've gotten a nice glass of wine but I wanted another Lemondrop). We had Espresso Martinis to finish. If you have trouble sleeping, I wouldn't suggest these... they were delightfully strong! Great service, really nice staff.
Parking: Parking is free in the evenings. I recommend the parking deck right next door. It's safe and convenient.

My fiancé and I celebrated my 30th birthday here. The fall menu is absolute heaven (specifically the chicken liver pate). The cocktails are deliciously complex and fun, the atmosphere is unbeatable and Yair effortlessly made our experience so special, fun, and memorable. Best spot in Durham.

Fun spot to grab a bite before a show at DPAC. Cocktails were very good as was the pimento cheese appetizer. We heard a lot about their burgers and we all decided on them for our entree. Mine was excellent; moist and delicious. Good all around burger. We finished the meal with the chocolate pot de creme which was also very good - thick, rich and creamy. Almost like an unbaked brownie.

The restaurant has a great ambiance and the Staff is very welcoming.
However, this is a weird place because the food is awful. You pay a high price to get your meal served in a sardine can? ?
I ordered the grill salmon and could not believe what they served me. It was a disaster.
They then only serve you miniature pickles and bread. Don't waste your time. Try some place else.

WOW!!! I can't stop raving about our experience last night. We came in for dinner/drinks before the show at DPAC. Beet salad-deviled eggs - mushroom risotto and key lime tonic pie were delicious. The spiced peach mule was so tasty. BUT the best part of the evening was the outstanding service provided by all the staff especially our server Raphael. You all go above and beyond and I thank you!
