Straight up, the best burger I've ever had. I had the pleasure of meeting Blake behind the counter today. I ordered a cheeseburger with my favorite toppings and a side of curly fries. $7.50 was the cost of arguably best lunch I have had in years. Same base menu as Wimpy’s with the addition of hot dog variety! You can tell Blake isn’t quite as seasoned as the previous owners, but give it time. You can tell there is passion behind the business and the prices are great!
Like many, I was saddened to see Wimpy’s close and fairly skeptical about Blake’s being any sort of replacement. Honestly, outside of some subtle changes, like curly fries, it really is the same great place. The burger is amazing. I really can’t tell a difference. Dogs are still great too. Have not been in for breakfast. They have added a bit of outdoor seating. Remember your cash!
