It's ok... their sides are ok... yams are delicious... mac and cheese is ok... their meats are slamming... certain sides are good... not all... pulled pork was good... just remember to ask for the BBQ sauce
A Durham institution. 20 years. That’s how long ago I lived in Durham. Finally made it back and Bullock’s was the first place I headed. Just as wonderful as I remember it. BBQ pork was moist. Fried chicken was crispy. Hopefully it won’t be another 20 before I get back.

Hushpuppies were outstanding. I ordered the Spicy Buffalo Bone in Wings. Sauce was phenomenal, fall of the bone tender with a great fried crispy coating. Loaded baked totato and brisket sandwich also great. Chopped BBQ phenomenal. Not sure how I had never been before. Kenzie our waitress was top notch. Didn't miss a single thing. Be sure to give her a big tip
