Italian Pizzeria offers delicious pizza and Philly cheesesteak in Durham. The 16" pepperoni pizza is loaded with cheese and has a chewy, slightly crunchy crust. The combo meal includes 2 slices and 8 mozzarella sticks. The food is cooked fresh and plenty, and the steak hoagie is also very good, with plenty of meat and a slightly toasted bun. Although the cashier may not be very engaging, the service is quick and the prices are good, except for drinks, which some customers feel could be more reasonable. Located in a shopping center, it feels more like a take-out spot. The pizza is considered the best around, with options like the napoleon special that is loaded with everything a good pizza needs and has a tough undercarriage to support all the toppings. Fries are nice and crispy, and the mozzarella sticks are amazing. Overall, it is a great place to visit for good food.
