Carolina Ale House - Durham

This place should be shut down it’s filthy in the kitchen people don’t wear gloves nor wash there hands they work on top of dirt they do not in Force cleaning and wiping down and when I went to complain to the manager lady named Geva I think her she was hammered eyes were shot and dilated like how was she at work at that point I will not be back there and I use to spend my money with ale house but not any time soon will let my family and friends know as well ! Absolutely disgusting

Service was slow and our waiter was not that attentive but when we did see him he was very polite. We had to get up and get our own silverware, food came and still had no utensils. It appeared that they might have been short staffed. They got two of our orders wrong but fixed them. The food was really good. We will probably go back. Alot of places have off nights now and then.

Waited an hour for warm food! The steak and shrimp were tasty once reheated.

Sway took excellent care of us. We were a group of at least 20 and she took great care of us! She took our order like a pro, food came relatively quickly given the size of our group! Everything was great!

Food with solid waitress was fantastic went with a large group ..set on the back patio area it could definitely use some updating

Went on a first date to watch sports. SO MANY TVS!! The date went well, not a love connection, but it was an evening well spent!

My honest review is the restaurant looked "tired" the employees had no pride in their appearance at all, kind of looked like people you wouldn't want to touch your food. Food was subpar, prices high, the usual in this economy. Our waiter seemed rushed no much "table side manner", he did a great job bringing the food out immediately and refilling our water. We felt rushed and not a welcoming impression. I wouldn't return as the restaurant is.

My family and I came here to watch the Ravens’ Thursday night game. Lee was our server and he was GREAT! We were a big party and he took good care of us. Highly recommend him if you come here. The fried pickles and wings were good. I got the fried shrimp platter for my meal. Fries are good but the shrimp was a little salty but not enough that I couldn’t get eat it. I also got margaritas for my drinks and enjoyed them. I would come back if I’m in town again and need to watch a game.

Nasty! I'm talking about the place itself And the dishes. I didn't even eat so ask someone who can get past the nasty to order and eat. Uggghhh! I just couldn't do it!
