So I eat at the one in Raleigh often and they are great but I was in Durham so i stopped in to get what I always get. They told me it was extra for when I ordered conflicted I said ok.... well 15 mins later food came out and was half a bowl I'm not sure how you charge more and give less.
Just go to the one in Raleigh if you want good food and service its worth the drive.
Just ordered a pickup meal from here and paid at the store. It asked if I wanted to tip the cashier for putting my order in a bag. I declined as no service was provided and the cashier shamed me as she handed me my bag. IT WAS A PICK UP ORDER. The entitlement was disgusting. Hire better people. Won’t be coming back✌🏻
Thursday (yesterday) was my first time trying Clean Eatz. Thankfully Hannah was there being all polite and helpful. She was truly a customer service pleasure and I hope she remains that way because it's somewhat unusual for the younger people in customer service these days, I hate to say. I ordered the Epic Chicken Wrap and Mac n Cheez -- they were both very tasty - I'd order them again - and hope it's the same the 2nd time around. Some places reel you in and then screw up on the next visit -- inconsistent. Also, the juices are good - well I tried the Tropical.
One thing I noticed and hope will change (and I could be wrong about it) is that when ordering (at least online) there are no options to order these items without meat. Choose Your Protein only lists meats. Protein, as I'm sure the owners know, comes from plant sources as well. I tried the battered chicken in my wrap but I'm omw to becoming plant based shortly and would love to see those options (don't like the Impossible and the Beyond stuff though).
Congratulations Hannah!! Your future looks Bright ✨️😎!!
I love this restaurant. Their food is so tasty and healthy. It may take up to 15 min for the food but they’re making it fresh. Patience is rewarded; yummy.
Always Excellent Healthy food choices and the Mac and Cheese is Amazing!!! Daisha is always very helpful and friendly!!
As a nutrition buff and avid macro tracker, I was excited to try CleanEatz Durham. From the moment I walked in the door, Sydney absolutely blew we away with the most amazing, friendly, knowledgeable Customer Service EVER! She helped me make meal selections that supported my macro goals while sharing which meals she personally loved. I totally scored on my first visit! Thank you SO MUCH!
The portion size was good. I ordered brown rice, salmon, broccoli, spinach, Brussels, and cucumber. Not a piece of broccoli to be found. The salmon tasted like, and had the texture of, precooked frozen fish cakes- very fishy, mushy, watery, and no salmon flavor.
Really tasty and food thats good for you

I used to really like this place when it first opened. The bison burger and sweet potato fries were on point! Absolutely delicious. However, each time that I’ve been, the quality has gotten worse and worse. I typically get a bison burger Clean Eatz style, but I got it in a different style today—came with mushrooms, turkey bacon, Swiss cheese, BBQ sauce, and pickles. It was hands down the blandest burger I’ve ever had—about the only thing I could taste were the pickles, which, by the way, were sweet! What place uses sweet pickles? Ugh…and the sweet potato fries were cold—shouldn’t have gotten that cold in under 15 minutes. Plus, they’ve been giving less and less fries each time I go…and the past few times, some of the fries haven’t been fully cooked and some are burnt up. They must be reheating old fries.
I won’t be going back until the quality improves.

I've never been there and the menu and whole process was explained so well. Staff seemed to know what I would like and it was so very good.

There’s nothing clean about this place.
I rarely write a negative review, but this one is a must. As soon as I stepped into this restaurant, something smelled off. The menu looked suspect, but I gave it a try. I ordered the whole grain bowl with salmon which, in retrospect, was my mistake given the vibe in there. The vegetables were raw, the rice undercooked, and the salmon was dry and crumbled into tough chips. I knew I shouldn’t have eaten it and my suspicions were correct. CleanEatz gave me the worst food poisoning of my life — hitting within hours of eating there.
I’ll add that the service was lovely and the folks there were kind, but the food was awful and the food poisoning was the insult to injury. Please avoid!

Great food for a great price. You can spend $20 at Moe's for a burrito or $15 here and leave more satisfied. They pack protein into their meals and you can get chicken beef, salmon, bison, etc. Try it, love it
