I looked to find somewhere close and this place came up. I can’t get over how great the coffee was! I had a coffee with a shot of espresso and it tasted amazing! I can’t imagine how good the other coffees are. The atmosphere was fantastic, it made want to just sit, do some work and stay there all day. The pastry was fresh and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back soon.
My favorite coffee beans in Durham but as of this post too expensive for me now. Understandably their prices have gone up. A $5 plain cappuccino is a good indicator of overall prices I think. The inside is cute, and occasionally a good reading or study spot, but it is popular and there are few spots with outlets if you are bringing a laptop, something to keep in mind. I always have great service.
There are coffee shops, and then there are gems. Cocoa Cinnamon would be said gem. The cappuccinos and lattes are wonderful, as expected, but the soul of CC is something special. Don’t forget to indulge in the homemade pastries.
