It was busy on a Wednesday afternoon—I snagged the last parking spot. I tried their churros, which were fresh and coated in four different flavors. The harvest and cardamom stood out with a great balance of spicy and sweet.

The windfall is probably the best coffee drink I've ever had. Great place for coffee.

I came to the Chapel Hill Road /Lakewood location for the first time on Sunday 12/28/2025 to try their hot chocolate and churros. I got the Guadalajara hot chocolate and it was concentrated and delicious. My partner bought me the Granada also absolutely amazing. I came back to bring the New Years with hot chocolate and churros and ordered the Guadalajara again. However, this time it tasted like “hot milk” rather than chocolate. So I went up to the counter and this blonde lady with glasses
made an obvious remark of how hot chocolate is made with milk in it. I told her about my experience from Sunday and she wrongly suggested on the prior day I got the Modica, which is darker chocolate on the menu. Hot chocolate should taste like chocolate, which it did on the other two hot chocolates I had from this location. Unfortunately there is a quality control issue here. More than anything, I’m disappointed that instead of rectifying the situation she tried to make feel stupid about my experience. Not only are the drinks inconsistent, but the customer service is too.

I always love stopping by cocoa cinnamon when i’m in durham. I love all the outdoor seating they have because i love to bring my dog! I ordered inside and got a guadalajara hot chocolate and loop churro and it was perfect for a cool fall morning. Everything came out in about 10 mins. There was also plenty of indoor seating as well

Last week, I had the chance to go to this wonderful gym in the heart of Durham and it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere and the ambience was rustic and very earthy. The staff was extremely friendly and fast even while busy. I ordered a hot chocolate with spice and a hibiscus tea. The hot chocolate was the best hot chocolate I ever had from a cafe in the area. Definitely will go back again

Went for the churros, was very disappointed. Paid $5 bucks for s small overcooked churro. Also had hot chocolate which was okay but not worth $6.50. The store was also very cluttered. It was giving storage room. Won’t be going back.

Delicious, high-quality coffee. I greatly enjoyed the pourover along with churros and orange sugar. Nice place to hang out for a bit with both indoor and outdoor seating. The table situation is a little funny with some large tables pushed together. I've never felt like the staff is overly warm, but that's ok. Parking can be tough at some times, but there were plenty of open spots on a Sunday morning.
