Horrible experience. Restaurant does not close until 2 walked in at 1:15 and was no one was at the hostess stand so we begin to walk in and as soon as we take a few steps we ate greeted with one of the rudest greetings I have ever experienced at a restaurant. The lady rudely says how can I help you very abruptly and loud letting it be known we were not welcomed then begins to tell us she can not seat us because the restaurant just stopped seating and take out had just stopped. Then tells us someone will be here to greet us at 7:30 tomorrow morning and points towards the door letting us know we need to leave. I felt highly disrespected even if she was having a bad day there is a way to speak to customers especially first time customers we just moved to this area and we definitely will never be coming back. It's a very unwelcome vibe. Then she begins to walk back to the side with two other employees and talk. She literally was doing nothing else but talking not serving, cleaning or anything but so I'm guessing she doesn't want anyone else to come in so she didn't have to do anymore work and go home early. We went down the street to Briggs and had a very pleasant experience.

I guess I'm a gluten for punishment. Cause despite the fact that Brandy Coves always seemed to have a miserable attitude, I would frequent this restaurant way more than I should have and every time Brandy Coves would display the worst hospitality. The other servers weren't much better and still I would go! Clearly for the food!! On Dec 29th 2023, I went to try and place an order to go. I was told to scan the QR code to place a to go order. I informed Brandy Coves that it wasn't working and she said it was and they were much to busy to take my order physically. After trying several times with no success I decided to just sit in the restaurant and eat. I was set at the counter and was told it would be a $10 charge PER ENTREE for an order to go, I then told the server I would eat in the restaurant. After taking my order she proceeded to hand me a bill for $20 extra dollars for takeout. I made it clear I had no intentions of paying $20 when I was dinning in, the server lied and told Brandy I asked for boxes at that point power tripping Brandy told me I could not eat in the restaurant and she didn't owe me any explanation for her hostility. I told her to have a nice day and she said she was b4 I came in. After reading the negative reviews about the workers I now know it wasn't just me. I've finally had my full of the rudeness and will never go back and would not recommend True Flavors to worst my enemy!

Large portions. Taste excellent. Order took a while but it was Saturday morning so that was to be expected.

Outstanding food. The sweet potato pancakes and the shredded port grits are amazing. Bacon is flavored to cooked to a perfect crisp.

I did an online order. Very simple to choose food and options! The sweet chili duck biscuit was delicious!! **chef's kiss***Hubby enjoyed the chicken biscuit sans the gravy. He said it was very good! The portion sizes were big so it's like having two meals for the day! Definitely will be back!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCEI had to take a moment to cool off before writing this review. My recent visit to this restaurant was a complete disappointment. It was my first time there, and while the hostess was friendly, things took a nosedive from there.Upon scanning the QR code for the menu at the bar, we waited for about 10 minutes before a waiter, who I later found out was the manager, hurried us to order drinks. When I had a question about the menu, she rudely instructed me to only look at the weekend menu, despite there being two menus available.Trying to order, I was told they were out of the sliced chicken bacon biscuit, which left me puzzled since I was guided to a different menu without this information. So I decided to order the sausage biscuit. Once the food came out the waiter asked if we needed anything else. The experience hit its low point when I asked for grape jam and was told I could only have the jelly that came with a biscuit. In frustration, I requested the bill and decided never to return. I advise others to do the same. This was a first and last visit, and it left me utterly disgusted with the service.

I’m from the North and wanted to have a typical Southern breakfast before returning home from a business trip. This was definitely not typical, more like a hip, gourmet version of the standards. I happened to sit at the counter so saw a stream of beautifully plated dishes go by, all of which I wished I could sample! The service was efficient, attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere was comfortable and convivial and the place was very clean. The portions were huge, so order with that in mind. I was offered a biscuit and jam while waiting for my order and, although I should’ve turned it down and left more room for the meal, the mandarin orange jam was my favorite thing of all. Enjoy!

Ok, maybe it does cost more than $40 for breakfast for 2 these days. But it shouldn’t at a diner. It’s not next to the airport or in DTR. Yeah the food was tasty and there are a large number of menu options. But it’s still a diner. In a run down strip mall. Disappointing value despite tasty.

A man dies and finds himself at the pearly gates. St Peter finds the man's name in his big book and slowly shakes his head. Pete looks up and says, "I'm sorry but..." The man interrupts the good saint, coughs quietly, and holds out a take-out container of True Flavors Biscuits and Gravy. Pete takes the container and puts it under his desk and says, "Welcome!" ______ Yeah, its that good.

Ok now we know 5-star reviews are hard to come by, especially in this day and age but let me tell you...this place is amazing! From the time I walked in to the time I walked out, I was well pleased. I had some time to kill before checking into my hotel and since I got to town so early, I decided to come here for breakfast. They are a typical brunch place. You can order anything off the menu during their hours. They have separate weekday and weekend menus. They are pretty different. Idk when I'll be back in the area, but I for sure want to try it on the weekend. Everything just sounds delightful. Okay, getting back on track...it's the cutest little diner! People steadily came in and the turn around for tables was never too backed up, at least while I was there. This was also around 10:30am on a Friday morning. My waitress was very nice and friendly. To start, I ordered a water and a vanilla bean iced coffee. The coffee was wonderful! The perfect amount of coffee flavor and sweetness. After ordering, I was asked if I wanted a biscuit while I waited for the food to come out. Again, wonderful. It was warm with butter on top and came with a peach jam that I loved. For my food, I ordered the blueberry chipotle chicken biscuit. The pictures don't do anything justice. You get large portions, I certainly was not expecting that. The biscuit was so good! I wasn't sure how all of the flavors were gonna come together but they worked, and worked well. Bottom line, you NEED to visit this place and I most certainly will be back.

Let me preface with: you never know what people are going through. I HOPE you think before you speak to your willing-to-pay customers in the future. For me and mine, you won’t be receiving our business nor will anyone we know. You could have been part of our “story” in a positive way, but now, you put a damper on a beautiful day. I called this morning to get breakfast for my Uncle who just had a successful kidney transplant and my Aunt who was with him and it was her birthday today. This would have been his FIRST real meal after surgery! He was so hungry only being able to have broth since Tuesday morning. He wanted a gravy biscuit so bad!! When I called, the lady was EXTREMELY rude and HUNG up on me when I simply asked for directions from within the complex. The gps doesn’t take you directly to their restaurant and it’s not labeled as Debbie Lou’s. I asked again to clarify the directions and she says “LIKE I SAID MULTIPLE TIMES” in a loud, rude tone. I said ma’am I’m not from here there’s no need to get an attitude, and she said “well I’m sorry you feel that way” and hung up. Absolutely zero customer service and CARE. I searched another biscuit shop, and drove to Rise where Brenna took extra care of my order, the food was fantastic, but most of all, she CARED and didn’t treat me with such COLD disregard like you all did. Please in the future, watch how you speak and treat people. You never know what they are going through. My uncle almost died and we could have used a little bit of kindness.
