The food has always been good and fresh and excellent portions. Everyone is friendly and helpful if you have questions. The pollo de crema was good, the roasted chicken meal too. We ordered one of the meals for two once with beef and shrimp and it was more like for three and a half. Salads are packaged separate and fresh, not wilted pieces included alongside your hot dish. This is my go to spot when having company because I feel like everyone can find something here and the prices...
I usually like to eat at local restaurants twice before I write a review, but once was enough for El Chapin. We tried several different items from the menu and everything was really good. We're looking forward to returning to enjoy more Guatamalan flavors.
