Everlou is my favorite downtown coffee shop for two reasons: the dogs and the staff. First, it's one of the few coffee shops that allow dogs inside the store. This has been seriously crucial when my power has gone out and I needed to get work done (and also want my dogs to be cool.) Also, they give away pup cups which my dogs love. Second, the staff goes above and beyond to get to know their customers. They remember your face and even when it gets busy I never feel rushed. Oh yeah, and the coffee is great too! The space inside is small and can get crowded so just know you may need to bring a long charging cord.

The Americano is my usual but I get the Drip coffee alot. It's like a mix between white label and processed without being too processed flavor. If you are coffee drinker, you know what I'm talking about. "Best of both worlds."

In all of Durham, Everlou has the nicest staff, most welcoming atmosphere, and most importantly of all, the best tasting coffee. Come here and you will not be disappointed. This shop has become a wonderful place for the community to come together. Every time I go, I not only get to sip on delicious coffee (with wonderful latte art!), but I also always find myself getting into great conversations with fellow patrons. It is a wonderful place to sit back, relax, and enjoy life the way it was meant to be enjoyed.

Such a cute, dog friendly, and kind atmosphere! The coffee was delicious and came out quickly, but the service was top notch! I wish the seating area inside was a little bigger but it also adds to the charm of the place. We were looking for a coffee shop to check out during our Durham travels today and ran across EverLou. So happy that we decided to stop in with them! They are just outside the main chaos of downtown and parking was so much easier.The people helping us were very knowledgeable about their options and we all loved the drinks that we got. I got a Chai Tea Latte, one of my kids got a Matcha Tea Latte and the other got a Peppermint Mocha.They use Oatmilk in all of their drinks, which is awesome for those of us who are plant based. They also had 2 different vegan gluten free pastry options for us to try. We loved the granola bar! Will definitely come back again when we back in the area.Dietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten free options!
