The bagel is a simple food but one that is very hard to master. I wanted to like this place, I miss my bagels in NY & Jersey.

I get the concept here upscale experience in a food court atmosphere. That’s where they lost me. The service was ok, the staff were ok but they were more interested in catching up with each other.

The bagel selection was very limited, they were dry and didn’t have that must chew in a bagel. The positive I will give on the everything bagel, looked very good had plenty of seasoning on top and bottom but the texture was off, the veggie cream cheese was different - was ok but again trying to hard to upscale.

I think so much emphasis was spent on an idea of what was felt to be upscale. The mark was missed.

Simple ingredients done right is gourmet, I will say that again. You don’t have to be over the top to make a great dish. Less time on the concept more time on getting it right.

I will keep hunting for a great bagel in the area.

Note that I usually LOVE everything bagels. I’ve so enjoyed their unique bagel flavors like dill and swiss, bacon cheddar, and hatch chile. Typically, EB is not stingy with the cream cheese. Today, I got a hatch chile cheddar bagel with scallion cream cheese and was very disappointed. There was barely a swipe of cream cheese on the entire bagel and my bagel was not toasted, and honestly tasted kind of raw. Will try again because I think they probably had an off day, but was not feeling satisfied after my bagel.

This New Yorker is pleased with these bagels. I've had multiple bagels and sandwiches from here. Most recently, I had the lox (always a hit, with a big portion of lox, and interesting kimchi to add crunch and spice), and the breakfast lamb sandwich (tasty and fragrant with Mediterranean spice). They always have very interesting bagels, including togarashi sesame, seaweed everything, urfa garlic, black lime sea salt, gouda and dill pickle, etc. Prices surprisingly reasonable for the location and what you get!

The everything bagel with carb Rangoon cream cheese may be the BEST bagel and spread combo I've ever had. Highly recommend!

Their cheesesteaks are out of this world! The bread they use is delicious. It was honestly better than any of the cheesesteaks I’ve had in Philly. 11/10

Menu is clearly labeled. Tried their vegan apple cream cheese on a fig bagel and it was delicious. It’s hard to find places with specialty vegan cream cheese flavors, let alone several options. Updated from previous review on 2025-04-20

The bagels? AMAZING.
The customer service? AMAZING.
The prices? Also AMAZING.

This place truly delivers on all fronts. It’s disappointing to see people leaving 1-star reviews without any clear reason. The shop is tucked inside a vibrant, bustling food hall, which is part of the charm! The energy, the variety of food, and the crowd all add to the experience. And right there in all of it is this adorable bagel spot serving up some seriously delicious bagels.

Bagels taste fresh and they have a lot of cream cheese and a few sandwich options. We got the vegan “lox” bagel and it was great! #Veganuary

Living above the food hall, I've had these bagels for years. They are fresh, covered in delicious seasoning, and prepped just right. My daughter loves them with eggs and bacon on top, give them a try!

Many of the non-5 star reviews are about the sandwich combinations or that the Durham Food Hall gets very crowded and busy.

I love bagels and bake them myself - the actual bagels here are hands down 5-stars. They are well balanced and offer delicious creative tweaks on the classics, with the addition of togarashi to their sesame bagels and their Urfa and garlic bagels being standouts. They also nail the classic poopy seed and everything while offering more nontraditional flavors that can be fun to try, but are hit or miss depending on your preferences (as it should be!)

A big thank you to everyone who works here for providing a vibrant and interesting bagel option in the triangle.

The bagels were fantastic! We tried the Blueberry with Miso Butter, the Breakfast Bagel, and the Szechuan Lamb. The smokiness of the Breakfast Bagel hits your palate even before the first bite. The miso butter had an authentic flavor, and the lamb was perfectly cooked. Most importantly, the bagel itself was slightly fluffy without the traditional bagel texture which is usually more dense. But that’s how I like the bagel.

I’m a bagel lover, and everything bagels provides what I love: fresh, tasty toasted bagels, with fresh toppings. My favorite was the simple plain bagel with cream cheese, and the sesame bagel with avocado. Perfect way to start my day! Also: prices are really fair. Overall: Sensational!!

Do not eat here. This place is a rip off. I paid $14 after tax for the chashu bagel sandwich and there was the smallest piece of chashu on one half. I returned it and got it back with a piece and a half. It wasn’t even a good sandwich. They seem more concerned with having cool sounding sandwiches than making a good sandwich.

I ordered the breakfast bagel with bacon on a Pepper Cheddar bagel. The bagel was delicious, soft, and toasted just right. It needed salt but I wouldn't mind going back to get it again. Get there early because bagel options were down to 2 by my time I got there so a plain bagel with cream cheese wasn't even an option. The atmosphere can be VERY overwhelming. It's loud and bustling so I took my food to go. But overall 7/10.

I have ordered egg and cheese . I was the only one at the time. They weren’t busy. They were so careless and have given me a bacon. Good that I have opened the sandwich at the restaurant to eat . I would have been met with nasty surprise had I ordered a takeout. Would not expect the restaurant to be careless about people’s order. Never going back.
