Don't do it people, their rating by the Health Dept was a 70.5!! That was in July! In May it was a 78.5! So apparently they aren't really getting any better.

The food was utterly atrocious. Ordered two 6 piece wing dinners the wings were insanely soggy af. One of the dinners was missing 3 wings. All in, not nearly worth the price we paid. Steer clear! Go anywhere else!

You see all types of people there. I didn't like catfish until I tasted the one's my mom ordered. Their CAKES ARE AWESOME AND I DON'T SHARE. CHOCOLATE CAKE AND COCONUT CAKE. Their sizes are well worth the money spent.

Vegetarian options: They tell you on a . menu what vegetables are available as well as vegetables for the day.

Kid-friendliness: Absolutely Highchairs are available and kids menu.

I ate there on 3/23/21. I ordered the shrimp sandwich combo and a Whitting sandwich for take out. The shrimp combo was supposed to come with fries and a drink. The Whitting was supposed to come with a cole slaw side. I wanted lemonade for my drink and the cashier told me it was an upcharge for lemonade (as she slurpped on a soda) I said ok (then she took another slurp) and said "We don't got no lemonade." I settled for a canned drink. They told me that the food would take 10-15 minutes to prepare but I was pleasantly surprised that it was ready in 5-6 minutes. I got home and there were no fries with the shrimp combo and the Cole slaw spilled and made the fish soggy. The shrimp sandwich was AVERAGE at best. The fish may have been better if it wasn't soggy. I WILL NOT BE A PATRON OF THIS RESTAURANT EVER AGAIN!

I really hate to say that this new management is too comfortable in their family business to conduct as an business. They gave us some over fried fish on one particular occasion then at the time to receive my food the guy decided to open up the boxes I purchased getting our food cold taking photos saying oh he is promoting their business. I know we all had terrible stomach pains after eating their food at this particular time.

The group that I was with had a great time, the food and customer service, was great and Black owned. Everything was cooked to order and it came out quick. We will be going back!!

Kid-friendliness: The kids price points were great.

Parking: It was cool big parking lot.

Was traveling through town and wanted some fish. So site and thought I'd give them a try. They were close to closing so food was rushed. I will always try to support black owned. Good Luck GGs

The food is hit or miss. It's not very good at all now. I know they switched owners but to me it has no flavor or seasoning for it to be in a black neighborhood and for the prices that you're charging the food should be on point and it's not, smh. The customer service is good except when the young girl that was at the register last week was rude while taking orders in person and over the phone. The last thing I'm going to mention is that yall are going to have to fix that ac. If you're going to be slow in making the food then the customer needs to be comfortable while waiting. It was EXTREMELY HOT when I went in there and the fan is not helping. I want to continue supporting but it needs major improvements

This place is DISGUSTING!! They sold my husband spoiled fish. I REPEAT NEVER eat here. Food is tasteless and over cook. Went back to try to try to get my husband's order half decent and didn't give him no sides!!!! They get a -10 for me

Second time coming to this restaurant and both times the food was awful. The biggest issue is fish has no flavor other than tasting like freezer burn and is tough. I give restaurants second chances because anyone can have a bad day but this will be my last time ordering from here.

If you like fried fish and chicken, this place is for you. I had chicken tenders, fries, and fried mushrooms, and they were all good. The ranch and honey mustard dressings were yummy. My partner had fried flounder and said it was good.

Stopped by the Fayetteville store location to receive an excellent customer service experience. Totally surprised to find new ownership and had my expectations exceeded. The food was outstanding with ample portions, and if you like iced tea, be sure to try it here, reminds me of old fashion family reunion style.Highly recommend this restaurant committed to your satisfaction.

First off this place is one of my favorite stops when I'm on the road working. They have changed ownership but the service is really more personal now. The food is fried to perfection and this is my third visit and I've had no discrepancies in how the food was prepared. The portions are excellent everything is seasoned well and for the price the value is in line with market prices.

I ordered several things because it was my first time there and wanted to try several things.. the Mac and cheese was sub par and the coleslaw was a tiny joke and tasted spoiled....
