Gizmo Brew Works - Durham Taproom

A great place with a nice variety of beers or ciders. They have a ton of board games to choose from as well. A small selection of vinyls for purchase for a cool surprise. We didn’t order any food from the nearby restaurant that advertises in the brewery, but they do have pickup right at the counter of Gizmo. Bathrooms were also super clean.

So many great things to say.
They have a great beer selection. there is an absolutely fantastic NA section for all my sober friends. They do not serve food but there are so many take out spots in the area, so there are many options. They do have a ton of cheap snacks, like chips and candy and stuff like that. It is DOG FRIENDLY! And music bingo on Monday is a great time. Overall great outdoor and indoor seating and a very chill environment! And lots of parking is always a plus.

They don't serve food but the Indian restaurant right across the street will deliver it there or you can bring in anything you want they have good beer

Perfect for casual beers with friends and sunny afternoons. Huge selection of beers and some non-alcoholic options (kombucha, though not on tap). Love the indoor / outdoor atmosphere - you can sit at the bar to watch a game, sit at a table and play a board game, or sit on the balcony and watch the sunset.

We came to grab a beer and play some games and had a great time. The guy who served us was very kind and the beer was good.

This isn't a restaurant. Flatly. They have some snacks, but there is not a kitchen. This is a bar, plain as that. They have a great rotation of craft beers and ciders and a very pleasant crew working the taps.

Had a great time doing trivia on Tuesday at 7pm. Bartenders were great too!

I'm not sure if this place serves food so I don't have an opinion on that option. I've only been there three times and the bar staff are not unfriendly but not overly friendly at the same time if you get my meaning. I know that it's hard to find good help these days and they should hire someone with a bit more personality to run the show.

Nice layover at Gizmo’s in Durham. We had a 90 minute wait at a dental clinic so we headed over to the brewery for a few cold ones. Matt the bartender was excellent and suggested some brews to try. I had the hop on top IPA from Linwood brewing which was awesome and my wife had the Once upon a lime in Mexico which is a good rendition of Corona draft with lime. No food availability-except for munchies but we ordered chicken from the restaurant below the brewery. Definitely worth a stop!!
