I’ve been to Gizmo several times before - it’s your standard brewery as any other. It’s got a nice layout inside. The location is also nice. The bartender was quick to take our order and provide us suggestions- they seemed knowledgeable about their beers. I had one of their stouts that was seasonal and it was nice.

Beers aren’t too badly priced, nice open space with a beautiful view.
Didn't eat there but the beer choices are great! The place looks brand new ... everything super clean. They have a bunch of video games that you can play. Very good open concept wide open space. The patio is perfect. Great view!

This place is amazing! A huge selection of beers and fabulous staff. We came when they had live music and it was amazing! They have outside seating and if you're hungry, they got snacks. There are also several places to grab a bite to eat. Highly recommend it. They also have a pet roomba fyi.EDIT: Since I've been coming here, nothing has changed for the worse. I've gotten to know a lot of the bartenders personally, and they are all wonderful people. This place also has specials every day of the week, and some kinda of event almost every day as well. Family friendly too with board games, a video game station, and plenty of snacks and non-alcoholic options. Still tons of places to eat around the area too.Edit #2: Everything above still applies. If you don't come here often, you should. The following things are top tier: Bar Manager, Bar Staff, Customers, DJs, Jewelry Shop, Music Bingo and Host, Poker Night and Host, Record Shop, Tables, Trivia and Host, Water Station. Excellent tap room. One of the most inviting environments. Great beer selection and amazing staff. Eden the manager is a delight and is super knowledgeable. They have daily/weekly events and live music and it’s super pet friendly! 10/10

Casual outpost of the popular Raleigh brewery situated in a new South Square development. Gizmo's beers are probably in the same tier as Ponysaurus, Hi-Wire and Fullsteam's. This Durham space is new and clean and comfortable. It's got board games and a bunch of varied events (the day I stopped by the Firefighters were hosting a mayoral candidate forum).
