Gojo was a fun experience. The spices in the food were creative and fun. The coffee was good. I was told that at one point in time, Gojo made a bigger deal with the coffee experience, however, the pot, cups, and flavor were wonderful and memorable. This is a come again location. Just really loved the food.

Are use this location as a reception, and could not be more pleased with the atmosphere, food, and the service. The owner seat with us out the set up of the event to make sure that we have the sound system properly hooked up for our microphone and music. He and the staff also made sure to keep all the plates fresh and our gas able to access the lovely wine and beer, selections, chosen to serve for the event. All the communication in advance of the day of the event was smooth and clear. Everything was done with warmth and love, and I highly recommend that you have service here as well.

This is now my favorite coffee place to visit in Durham! I had a lovely time here with a dear friend. It's such a cute place, lots of comfy seating, the breakfast sandwiches are absolutely delicious, and the coffee is superb. Service was wonderful. We got the Jebena coffee and shared it, and the setting was so beautiful. Will definitely be coming again.

Food:4/5Wow! I have never had this kind of food before but it was very good. My favorite was the red lentils, but I got the veggie bowl pick 3 with: potato's and cabbage, red lentil, chickpea, and tomato salad. If you are not a fan of spice DO NOT get the red lentils, I'm from Texas and these had a kick. The cabbage was my second favorite followed by the chic pea. The bowl comes with a pancake like layer at the bottom, personally was not a fan and will ask for without next time. Pretty flavorless - sort of between pancake and crepe texture wise. Additionally, I was also not a super fan of the tomato salad. I usually would love this but the tomatoes were very squishy and could've used some salt. Portion is large!Atmosphere: 3.5/5They have a cute outside, but need to play some music! It's too quiet in here. The inside has a few small tables and two bar seats with plugs.Overall 4/5My food came out hot, quick, and fresh! People were kind and gave good recommendations. I'll be back!

The sandwiches are incredibly delicious and unique since they have an Ethiopian flare. I at the egg and avocado which was amazing because of the awaze on toasted bread! I had a ginger tea which was perfect.

A delightful cup of coffee. The scone we got was fluffy and yummy. Maps took us to the back door, but finding the front door was easy and convenient. Service was nice, and if we had more time, we would have gotten the Jebena Coffee that served 4 people. If you are in the area, it's worth checking out. One of my favorite lunches in Durham! I get the vegan bowl, though I'm not even vegetarian. It is just so damn good. Honestly, I haven't tried their sandwiches or any of their other offerings, but it is worth it to me just for the vegan bowl.

Great gem of a spot in the Brightleaf part of town. We sat on the patio out back while enjoying traditional Ethiopian coffee and 2 paninis. The atmosphere was pleasant and the server was a sweetheart. I’d definitely go back.
