Wouldn't give a 1 star if I couldn't leave a review. Went there, went even open despite hours online saying it would be. Need to manage hours to the public, might make some money!

Food was not good and overpriced. The cook didn't use gloves when she handled the bread to make toast or when handled the money ?. She never washed her hands before or after handling the food or money ? and believe me, I watched her very closely the whole time I was there. The pancakes was very nasty, flat, and had a very weird texture and taste.

Small cafe with home cooking and "home" company! Love it!;

I found this place by chance, and it's a great mom and pop place. it's just Ms Joy doing the cooking, so between other patrons and the called in orders you may have to wait a little bit - don't come if you're in a rush. The food was good, my plate was full, and I have no complaints. Make sure you are carrying cash if that isn't something you normally do

Nice little breakfast place, Mom & Pop's food, simple but various choices for a plate and breakfast sandwich. I meant to add the plate of my Breakfast but I forgot and it was too good.

This place serves one of the best traditional breakfast in Durham! If you're looking for elaborate breakfast options, don't come here. If you need a menu to order don't come here. If you never have cash, don't come here. If you like friendly people, traditional breakfast food, and a relaxed atmosphere this place is absolutely for you!!!

This cafe is really homey and they make delicious grandma filled meals. Or at least make me feel like I'm eating at Grandma's house again! (:

The food was good, but the prices were too high for what it was. $20 for 2 people to eat grits, eggs, toast and ham is too much.
