We come to Grub almost every time we visit Durham. The food is great, the staff is very friendly, got to talk to the owner Wendy today and hear a little of the history and influence behind the menu. What a wonderful lady!
Consistently great food. Slow service, though, and the food can take a while. (Which is extra hard if you have hungry kids with you.) Lots of outdoor seating, but just a few tables inside.

Today, we came to Grub and I ordered something different than my usual Wonder Woman biscuit. My taste buds are a bit wonky right now and I didn’t like what I ordered. The incredible kindness and care that was taken to ensure I was given what I would enjoy eating let me with not only a delicious meal but a happy heart. This place is not only a local favorite, but a place I do and will continue to highly recommend. Thank you, Grub!
