Loved the food

Housed in a former 80s McDonald's building, this Chinese restaurant doesn't disappoint. Their food is consistently good, their service is excellent and the busy front and off the hook phones are held down by a very friendly and hard-working woman. She always greets us with a smile.

The vibe and atmosphere makes you want to leave and wish you never went in. The outside is just screaming don’t go in. The. You’ll regret if you don’t head that warning.

Waited 1.5 hours no exaggeration. Called ahead 30 minutes before I went to pick up and waited an additional hour. I have never had such a horrible experience for $50 worth of food

Wonderful authentic Chinese restaurant. You would not know from looking at it, but the food really stands out compared to other Chinese food in the Triangle.

Happy China Restaurant offers a great dining experience with authentic flavors. The stir-fried pork intestines (溜肥肠) are especially delicious, cooked to perfection with rich and savory seasoning. Highly recommend trying this dish!

The food at this Chinese restaurant is outstanding! We ordered pork sausage, dry-pot frog and squirrel mandarin fish, and every dish was a surprise.

The pork sausage is fried just right, fat but not greasy, and the green pepper that goes with it is fresh and refreshing. The dry-pot frog is spicy and delicious, the meat is fresh and tender, and the side dishes at the bottom of the pot are also very delicious. The squirrel mandarin fish is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the sweet and sour sauce is appetizing.

Overall, this restaurant not only has rich dishes and authentic taste, but also has considerate service. It is a very satisfying dining experience!
