In town getting my kids stuff for college and was in the Target and drove around the area looking for chow. It came down to this place or the pizza place so we tried this one. Some good southern food on the menu. I had the ham hock (pork shank) that was deep fried I think with collard greens and sweet potato wedges instead of the mashed potatoes it normally comes with as suggested by the server. My only complaint is it should be a two ham hock dinner. I had some Texas Pete (the best hot sauce btw) on the side to dip the meat in which was crispy outside and meaty inside. The collard greens were not bitter but had a. sweet taste to them and I was telling my kid that I used to eat them with vinegar growing up but none was needed. The sweet potato wedges were thick and really good. My kid had BLT and she liked it. I may have to come back here again before I leave and try the catfish dish they have. Great food and service.

We had a really nice lunch with Meagan taking great care of us, really asked all the right questions about the GF allergy. We started with the pimento goat cheese dip which had a great balance of flavor. My daughter had shrimp and grits that she loved. I had the grilled romaine salad with shrimp that was also delish - I did think it was heavy in the dressing and served in a plate that was too small. Armed with just a lunch knife I had a big workout trying to cut it up and keep it on the plate. That being said, I’d order it again but on a larger plate.Dietary restrictions: Meagan was super thoughtful about my GF allergy.

I have not been this excited about a restaurant in a long time! My husband and I are (mainly) plant based, and there were delicious and creative culinary options for us. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable with outside seating options. I started my meal with the Watermelon Gaspatcho - created with Watermelon, red peppers, and a hint of jalapeño. Delicious! My husband started with the fried (home make) pickel spears. Yummy! We both had the stuffed zucchini with rice, mushrooms, onions, served with a side salad with a mouthwatering strawberry vinegarette. To round out the meal we shared the cheesecake with seasonal fruit. We just moved to the area and am so glad we found this locally run business. We will be back!

First time eating there. The salmon plate was pretty good. Now, the ribeye steak was fully cooked, not medium, as we asked. Service was basic. Quite small place.

I stop by this restaurant several times a year and enjoy their seasonal dishes throughout.Eat dessert first - favorites include the chocolate torte. The bread basket is served with a special butter blend. Our favorite is the berry butter, and today, we tried the peach butter.Tried the cheeseburger and meatloaf. Next time, trying the BLT.

We had an excellent meal. I had the srimo tacos, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. Everything was fresh and flavorful. My wife had the garden salad and soup. The soup was very good. The salad had a wonderful strawberry vinegrete. We were full, but everything was so good we shared the chocolate torte and were not disappointed.

I had never tasted She Crab Soup. It was so good, so rich and savory. I've been looking to find it ever since I had it here but cannot which saddens me.

I came here to eat with family from out of town and was completely disappointed. The atmosphere and location looked nice but sadly that might be the only nice thing I have to say. To start, we were seated at the back of the restaurant near the bathrooms (even though there was literally nobody else in the restaurant) and had to listen to the servers and cooks flush while we were trying to enjoy a meal. I don’t know what was worse, the service or the food. The meatloaf (pictured below… my mother in law pointed out the it was the same color as their ceiling) was so black, charred, and inedible that I could’ve used it as lethal assault weapon. The “greens” (if you can call them that) tasted like they were seasoned with dish soap and vinegar. And after all of this disappointment, the server (who barely apologized or tried to remedy the situation) basically hid from us for the rest of the time that we were there. The only person who showed any sincerity was the bartender/manager who came over to give his deepest condolences to the dearly departed meatloaf as we were preparing to leave. Even as we were leaving, the cook (who still had his kitchen gloves on) was more worried about the alcoholic beverage that he was finishing as he came out the back than any sort of apology or reparation for the disaster. This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a looong time and will definitely be my last trip to this establishment. DO BETTER!

Wow! The Fish & Chips are fantastic! Perfectly Fried fish with the perfect French fries. The flavor they can put in a white fish alone is worth the trip here. The Shrimp Tacos are the best in the state. It comes with a corn salad that will kerp you coming back for that alone. You must try a North Carolina beer with your meal. Ask for Jake! A1+ waiter.

My first visit on a Thursday night for dinner was great. The hostess was very friendly and my waitress, Summer, was both friendly and genuine. The food was phenomenal; the crispy chicken sandwich had a lot of flavor and it wasn’t overly breaded (appeared more grilled than fried). I also tried the she crab soup at the recommendation of my waitress, and devoured it. The meat was tender and the soup had a lot of flavor. I really enjoyed the whole meal and experience. My second visit on the following Monday (Memorial Day) for lunch, on my way back out of town, was less than desirable. The host was cold, but offered me options to sit just about anywhere in the restaurant, which I appreciated. Same went for my waiter. Though he did a great job for the standard spiel, I did not feel welcome at all and I finished my food quickly to leave the uncomfortable situation. The same crispy chicken sandwich wasn’t as good the second time either, it was heavily breaded which I felt like took away from a lot of the flavor I’d loved before.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal last night. She crab soup was most tasty. The Grilled Watermelon appetizer with spicy sauce was a nice surprise. Pork shank was very moist and flavorful. Meatloaf with sauce delighted my palate. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was good, but, did overcook my burger although it was tasty. Corn chowder was very good. Josh, our waiter was very personable.

I just had my sons wedding rehearsal dinner at Harvest 18. It was AMAZING. We had the entire restaurant to enjoy cocktails and dinner. Robyn was great to work with and made it all so easy. The food was all delicious. Everyone had such an amazing time and made many comments about how nice everything was. Thank you to their entire staff for making that day so wonderful and memorable ❤️
