This place is a children's playground that serves beer. It's such a shame that this is one of the closest bars to me, but it caters to children more than adults. The last time I tried to go, there were several children's birthday parties going on, so I skipped it and got ice cream at Two Roosters, where it was remarkably kid free.

Staff picks and chooses who they want to ID. I, a clearly over 40 year old adult was Id’d over this past weekend (and happened to not have it on me). Ok, I can live with that, that’s on me. What pissed me off was a group of girls who looked to be barely out of high school was not ID’d whatsoever! This occurred on Saturday. Guess the bartender guy was more interested in flirting with them. Corporate really should roll the cameras back and see how many people aren’t ID’d. Because I started to watch once I was. Absolutely ridiculous truly.

Hi-Wire in itself is excellent! There are just too many kids running around without parental supervision. Takes some of the fun out of going to a brewery on a cool night to relax with some brews. This is, unfortunately, a common thing at most breweries. Some are more daycares than others.

Seemingly factory renovated space created this unique vibe equipped brewery. Very nice to hang out with your friends and I saw a bunch of family there so must be a good option for family too. Although I didn’t have outstanding winner in terms of beer I loved from this place, I did enjoy most of what I had here except something with pickle in its name. When its name from beer menu list said something about pickle, I imagined that they said it in a figurative way or well adjusted the tone of pickle flavor in there. It didn't though. Man that one beer with pickle something was too adventurous and I won’t ever have that again.

But I'd love to come back again to this place. Few food options are there in the same factory space (but not part of the brewery itself), so very nice and convenient to enjoy with beer.

It's a beer brewery that looks like a converted old factory, and it has a cool and spacious atmosphere, making it a very pleasant place to gather with people and enjoy beer. It's not part of the brewery, but there's a pizza place or two right next door? There was another place selling food, so it was very convenient to eat and drink together.

Paper straws suck!

It’s ok. The bartenders seemed miserable but those paper straws are AWFUL! Nobody liked them and made it impossible to drink your over priced drinks. Don’t bow down to environmentalists.

About 100 kids and the smell of vomit was over powering.

Customer service is pathetic by the people cleaning the place.
When we arrived a table was completely solid and there was water below and around the table when we asked one of the person inside if someone can clean they asked me to pick an rag and go clean myself.

I think Hi Wire is pretty average. Pros include it’s a big space so works well for get togethers. Indoor and outdoor spaces depending on the whether. There’s a grass field right next to it for kids to run about on. The beer is decent, nothing special or standing out. Cons: I found service to be slow, which was mainly because of being understaffed (one bartender, in the past 2 which was still slow). Rating is held up higher by a solid pizza place and ice cream shop in the plaza and you can bring their food into the brewery. Without these other businesses, would rate more of a 3

This whole group of businesses is a great redevelopment of a former textile factory. Hi-Wire takes centre stage! A huge indoor space with a great choice of beers, and friendly staff. Ask for a sample if you’re not sure.

The adjacent pizza company offers online orders and free delivery. Ping pong and other games are free, so great for entertaining children during daytime hours.

The huge murals add colour, and large screens are perfect for sports fans. I highly recommend this brewery.
