Fun place. Been coming since they opened. Taking away a star for having people line up at the bar.

Staff are great, drink selection good. Wi-Fi is horrible. My friends and I come here to game together and it requires a secure network. We're going to have to find a new place to hang out.

The Chuck E Cheese of breweries. Good beer, cool building. But FILLED with children running all over. There was a 1yr old bday party with several reserved tables on a Saturday afternoon. At a brewery. Strollers in the aisles, kids throwing ping pong balls. Listen, I’m a parent and not a total jerk, but nah. The sign when you walk in says kids need to be supervised (and I don’t put this entirely on the staff), but clearly it’s a suggestion and not a rule. Anyways, I’ll likely visit on a week day again.

Good beer. But why are there so many kids here? I don’t understand it. Birthday parties for your 5 year old at a brewery? Wanted to come and relax away from my kids only to be met with an insane amount of other peoples kids. My friend just got hit in the head with a balloon. Seriously? What a joke.

Cool spot and good beer but the amount of kids in this place is too much.

Amazing beer! Great vibe with lots of space and even had games like ping pong and soccer pool that our daughter could enjoy!

I love this place. Beer is eh but the bartenders are solid ~ they are authentic real people serving beer. It feels like a little piece of home. And it’s a buzzing atmosphere ~ there are lots of fun outdoor games and events. It’s definitely a family friendly atmosphere. If you go on monday, wear yellow ?

Knowledgeable staff with a diverse and wide array of local beer taps. They host lots of events such as their silent disco nights or adult coloring book nights on tuesdays. Very friendly atmosphere, thanks for the hospitality!

Absolutely love the atmosphere at Hi-Wire, and the surrounding courtyard shops only add to that. This is THE place to go if you want an excellent selection of rotating brews (Mountain Water is king however), pizza, and ice cream with your friends, your significant other, or your bouldering club (Boulders and Brews!). Also, Flan is the man!

Came here for the first time the other day. Driving by it gave me different vibes but decided to dine in. I don't know if this place prefers to cater to high-previlegd pretty people, but that was not the case with me. The bartenders don't look happy doing their jobs and sound degrading after asking simple questions. Sorry it's my first time here and I don't know where everything is? I don't know, I should've trusted my gut but probably won't go back

Mark and Dani were both excellent behind the bar

I have been coming to Hi-Wire for years and I have come to know Kristin, Rachel, JM, Flan, Mark, Zane, Danni, Zoe, and Jake like family. This gang has been holding it down serving good beer and good times for a grip. Best taproom in Durham for sure!

Huge space with tons of seating, variety of beers, and ample parking. It's the perfect spot to meet up and hang out. There's plenty of games like ping pong for activities while you guzzle down some brews. Bartenders are friendly and efficient too. Just perfect!!

Great laid back brewery with tons of space indoors and out. Jake will take good care of you.

The space is great for larger groups. Whenever I have friends visiting from out of town, this is the first place I bring them to! I really like the Double Hi Pitch on tap. I order that every time I visit. Sometimes the other beer is hit or miss, but the staff is always great! Danni and Rachel make the best team! They are always laughing and having fun with the customers when the line isn’t too long.
