We have high expectations given several good reviews. Its brand self praise to bring Szechuan, Canton, Peking, Hunan specialties. The Chicken feet have an aftertaste of poultry. Which is not typical from many Chinese restaurant experience across America that serve Chicken feet and eliminates that filthy taste. The steamed Pork Rib in black bean sauce is just basically sauteed pork ribs with fish sauce and a dash of black beans from a can, the taste does not elevate its method of cooking, however it was done. With few slices of bell pepper, neither does it bring any good experience given the tiny meat in mostly bones. The Pork bun was so dry. Its inner filling is very low quality Chinese cooking. Overall, when we sat in the table, there was no chilli oil or chilli garlic sauce like Soy sauce, any sauce typical in Chinese restaurants. This is a big sham in the middle of Durham.

Absolutely fantastic. Went 3 times in 1 week. Anyone that’s given less than 5 stars can reach out to me personally as I will defend this place to the moon. Haven’t felt closer to a big city in any other restaurant, this place is a diamond.

Great place to get authentic dim sum.

After eating here twice, sorry it wasn’t better. Some dishes are decent, some are nearly flavorless. The mapo tofu had zero spice, as was mostly salty and fatty. My wife and I have both experienced severe indigestion after each meal here. We thought the rosy time was a fluke, and couldn’t guess which dish was the culprit during dim sum brunch. But we had dinner, and ordered different dishes, and were both sick to our stomachs again.Really wanted to like this place, but something’s up with their ingredients, or fry oil, or additives.

Found our dim sum spot in the area! We have tried a few and this is by far the fastest and best we have been to in the area. The pork shu mai, spare ribs, shrimp dumplings, and everything else we tried were excellent. Highly recommend, they have a smaller parking lot and are very popular, so get there when they open!

We had a lovely and filling Dim Sum dinner with some friends here! Everything we tasted was delicious— I liked the shrimp dumplings, taro crescent, sticky rice dumplings, and the Peking duck the most!

We got a takeout order of roasted pork fried rice and General Tso's chicken. They have recently increased their prices and reduced their portion size to half! On top of that, the food did not taste good and we could tell that the oil they use in their cooking is stale! We had a bad experience in the past too but didn't want to discredit it as a take out option thinking its a one-time issue. Clearly its a pattern now. Disappointed and wont be eating here again.

1st time we visit this place and we were happy with the food we ordered. We ordered dim sum and haven't tried other dishes. The dimsum is way better than the ones we had had around RDU area, kinda authentic. The service is ok, nothing to complain.

It is magnificent and a rarity to have true, authentic Hong Kong Dim sum in Durham. The wait out the door, and before the restaurant even opens, speaks to the quality and humble experience this restaurant brings to our community.I love that they serve hot soybean milk and Chinese donuts. It takes me back to the days I studied in China, and would stop on my bike for 热豆浆。Word to the wise, this restaurant is for people who are open to global flavors, as well as the semi-hectic experience that is dim sum. For me, that’s half the fun.

Excellent, fresh dim sum served right to your table from traditional rolling carts that constantly rove around the dining room pushed by friendly, knowledgeable staff. A line forms early before the doors even open, so get there with plenty of time, although if you have to wait, the turnover is fairly quick. This unassuming spot is a real gem and should be enjoyed and experienced by everyone.Parking: Parking lot is big, but it still fills up completely.
