Wayyyy Over priced. Food took forever to get, two items were dripping grease and was not edible(fried picked and fried green tomatoes, which were so greasy they were soggy). Food lacked flavor, and I walked away almost feeling bad for how much I spent for what I got. Very disappointing.

I recently used Hope Valley to cater an event at McKimmon Center at NCSU, and they were outstanding. Alexis was so kind and helpful, making things as easy as they could possibly be for a first-time event coordinator like myself. I was working with a conference committee, so there was a lot of back-and-forth regarding the budget, menu, etc., but Alexis was incredibly patient. Kelly did an amazing job at our reception. Everyone loved her. I'm so glad I chose Hope Valley!

I visited this restaurant today March 22, 24. We ordered a burger and two chicken sandwiches at 12:40 pm and they didn't serve my order until 1:30 SO I HAD TO LEAVE THE RESTAURANT WITHOUT HAVING LUNCH. SO “EITHER THEY HAVE A DISORGANIZATION IN THE KITCHEN AND IN THE ENTIRE SERVICE OR THEY ARE SIMPLY RACIST” Be careful with this restaurant that can give you a hard time as if you were not going to pay them for the service. DEFINITELY TERRIBLE.

There have been some changes at Hope Valley Diner. I’ve been a long time customer, but now, the volume of the music is a problem. It has always been known as a place for families and friends to go to talk, and enjoy their time there. The music is much too loud, and they’re playing radio top forty songs, and it’s not appealing to all of their customers. They used to play oldies at a much lower and enjoyable volume. I went there yesterday for breakfast, and left with a headache. The Western Omelette was swimming in grease. The toast was a little hard. Yes, the prices have gone up as most restaurants have raised their prices due to inflation, but the quality is not what it once was. I loved Hope Valley Diner, and I’m disappointed in what has happened there. ?
Been coming here since it was Rick's diner in 2010. Came in Sunday morning Jan 14, for my son's birthday. A very nice young man greeted us and let us know he had a table for us by the window, he just needed to clear it. The previous guests were just leaving.While he was clearing the table a very rude woman came and told us it was reserved, we could not sit there and offered us a table in front of the door. She was very rude and her service was terrible. There was no reserved sign on that table, but hilariously the table she tried to seat us at was reserved.Way to treat a single dad just trying to have breakfast with his kids. She was totally unapologetic and rude. After 14 years I will not be back, ever. Also... No one got sat at the so called reserved table for over 10 minutes while we sat outside...Thanks for ruining our morning you rude bitter person. I feel sorry for you. Take solice in the small spec of power you exercised over a young family is the only worthwhile thing in your life. Congrats.Customers in your store trump any made up reservation you cannot even fill. If your employee seats a customer another employee should not come over and tell them they cannot sit there

Worst service I've had in a long time. Waitress visited our table twice. Order drinks, apps and meal, after we waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged. Dropped off one coffee refill, no water or other drink refills, or even asking us. I had to go to restroom to refill water glass. Food is fine, but management and service beyond horrible!!!!Never again!
