Holy moly. Got the turkey sandwich. The best thing I've tasted in awhile. Get a full. It's worth it. Italian was amazing as well.
Got here at 11:30, 11 people in front of me. The Uncle Primo Chicken Cutlet was better than the Harlem Chopped Cheese, imo. Both were decent but not outrageously delicious. The staff was very kind on this hot day. Overhyped expectations on my end.
The best sandwich.
Can’t believe I didn’t find this place sooner. Chopped cheese was out of this world, going try the other sandwiches before I pick a favorite.
Incredible Sandwiches
Best sandwiches in Durham!
Everything about these sandwiches are on point! The roll is absolutely perfect. The other half of my turkey sandwich lasted very well in the fridge overnight, which made for perfect leftovers. We got the take and bake lasagna which was also delicious. Hope to make it back when they have the chicken cutlet sandwich in stock!
I wanted to go to this restaurant for lunch today. I visited their website and found that there was no vegan option listed. I therefore emailed the restaurant. They responded that they removed the vegan option some time ago as it was ordered infrequently. Once in a while they will have a vegan daily special, check Instagram.
Next level sandwiches and super friendly staff. Be early or ready to wait a short line because everyone loves this spot

Worth The hype. I tried the Italiano and the fried eggplant ricotta subs. Their homemade bread is really good (a little too heavy on sesame seeds for me though). Both sandwiches were huge and exactly what you'd want in a handcrafted sandwich. I got there when the line was JUST starting to inch out the doorway, and only waited maybe a total of 10-15 minutes before I had sandwiches in hand (weekday afternoon). Right after I got there though the line snaked down the block, so leave time to get your food. I'll definitely be coming back to try other sandwiches.
