Unfriendly personnel and expensive, musty tea. Practically no snacks or variety on the menu.

I’d heard such good things and was so excited to try this place. Unfortunately it was HORRIBLE. My iced chai latte came in a cup meant for warm drinks. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I still tried it and it tasted like WATER. I’m not sure if they’re under new management or if that barista just needs to be fired. Either way I won’t be back.

Seems very misleading and fraudulent to have accepted a $10k loan that was interest free from the Kiva community if you were not intending to repay it. Not only have you not repaid almost any of your loan, you have not shared any updates on why you haven't been paying your loan back. It's great to see that your business is doing well and I'm glad I could help support in getting your business off the ground. An update to the people that helped fund your business with a $10k/interest free loan would be much appreciated. The public should know that you have taken advantage of your lenders by not repaying almost any of your loan. The last payment anyone received was back in 2019, before Covid. Happy to remove this posting should repayment resume.

Placed an order through the website months ago and never received my order. Shipping label was created but they never sent it out. No response from the seller other than “we will look into it” and no follow up. Have tried multiple times to get this handled.

I backed Jeddah's Tea on Kickstarter before I moved away from Durham and it was nice to return a couple years later and see what a lovely, cozy space they've created there - with great decor and an unmatched tea selection. My only complaint is that it's always dead silent and empty every time I go in - just some music in the background would go a long way. Although I'm sure the pandemic is to thank for the less than ideal atmosphere. (Also the milk frother is never working.) I really hope to see the tea shop grow - it's definitely a gap we needed filled.

We were looking forward to try to drinks here after seeing all of the reviews. The coffee shop itself is decorated well and seems like such a great place to get work done. There were lots of seats and outlets. We were pretty disappointed with the drinks however. I ordered the Daallo latte, and my husband got one of the mint teas as a latte. The drinks were nothing like a true latte. The barista said he would add "frothed milk" and literally put a dollop of froth on top of a cup of tea instead of pouring frothed milk into the tea itself. Our tea looked like muddy water and did not taste good. We're hoping that this was just a one time thing. We hope to try Jeddah's again and have our drinks made better.

Stopped in to sit and kill some time before a show, and tried the Daallo blend. It’s delicious. If you’re a masala chai fan, as I am, I expect you’ll like it a lot.

Stumbled across this place while shopping at Zen Succulent and was pleasantly surprised. I could smell the delicious tea from out on the street and the taste of my Chia like tea didn’t disappoint (they have oat milk for my fellow vegans). Great service and knowledgeable! Will come back!

Wide selection of teas. I forgot the guys name behind the counter but, he was very knowledgeable helpful. He answered all my questions and gave me a few recommendations. I would say a nice spot to grab a cup of tea, hang out or go for a walk with the wifey or significant other. Parking might be a little tough because it's street parking. But lots of places to go for a walk.

I've been a Jeddah's fan since last year when I started actively seeking out black owned businesses, and what a find. They do online ordering and store pick up, and finally in person is OPEN! Was so glad to see this when driving through Durham, had to stop in even though I had just finished my coffee. I had a peach tea and it was delicious. Also had a great discussion about my favorite tv show, Ted Lasso with the green molies, so bonus points. Tons of space to work and free Wi-Fi. Will definitely be back soon! Also they have super nice candles for sale too!

This is seriously the best tea I have ever had. They had so many options I had to order two!

Every tea imaginable, each perfectly brewed to optimal temperature and flavor density. An absolute delight.

THE STAFF WAS SOOOO NICE ! I am not a big tea person, but this place was recommended to me, so I wanted to check it out. The interior is very soothing and beautifully decorated. The tea was pretty good, but again, I think I'm just not fancy enough to appreciate tea. However, the staff was amazing. I wish I got his name, but he walked me and my boyfriend thru the menu and gave me really helpful recommendations. We chatted for a bit and he seemed very knowledgeable about the drinks. He asked if we wanted to drinks hot or cold and I wanted it room temperature, which he did for me (was not expecting him to take the time to get brewed tea back down to room temp). Would love to come again and try more teas. Hopefully I can find one that I actually like :P

Visited for the first time today, arrived around 4:30 and was not greeted by Bennett, but informed that we had about 25 min to order and it had to be to go. Every question asked responses seemed to be very strained. She was NOT pleasant in anyway. Ordered two Daalo lattes and they were not only half filled, but luke warm. Requested to have them remade, which proved to be even more difficult. She responded that she would “try again”. So, decided to save her the trouble and requested a refund. Horrible experience and seriously doubt I will return again. Unfortunate, that this is who represents the establishment!
