It was first time eating there, we were in the area and was riding around looking for a place to eat. The food is made fresh to order. The atmosphere is ok. The restaurant itself could have been a whole lot cleaner.

Called to share my Postmates special order, was placed on hold for 15 minutes and she never returned to phone on 4/9/24 at 7:00 pm . I told the lady she left me on hold , she said she was busy, I said I could hear you not being busy and forgetting me on the phone , she hung up the phone she was an older lady, not the lady that’s there during lunch. Good help is hard to find. I will share this with the manager too.This type of treatment to Patriots can cause a lot of lost business

Jimmy's provides a consistent performance of both menu and atmosphere.I like the patrons who seem both friendly and approachable. Feels like a neighborhood kind of place. Not fancy and exactly welcoming with local flavor.The menu is tight and therefore always good. While my cardiologist may not appreciate my visits, I sure do!If you're looking for a quick meal, I strongly recommend that you plan your own visit soon.

Super concerned seeing an employee coming out of the restroom of the gas station around the corner, complete with his gloves and apron still on. Who does that? I'm really hoping it was the end of his shift. I wonder what their health department score is?

This was my family and I first time there and we ordered 70 + over dollars for food. That had hair all in my son's chicken plate and my husband food which was hot dogs with Chilli and hair all on them. NEED TO INVEST IN HAIR NETS FOR THE ONES THAT COOKS BACK THERE ??????????

The best reason to come here is for the prices and quality of the food.The parking lot is always full and it's always tight. The tables are very cramped and there isn't a lot of room so if you're a big guy it might be an issue.But my wife and I love this place because the food is very good for the price and better than the average fast food restaurant.

I like the food, but was just put off by an employee (whose name I won't say on a public forum) who answered the phone to take my order. I have been to other Jimmy's location and this would have been my first time ordering here. I started with asking to place an order and then asked 2 questions about pricing and portion of food. The employee then cut me off and said "are you going to order food or ask questions?" The person tried to clean it up by saying feel free to give them a call back when I knew what I wanted as though they were being accommodating and friendly. I quickly decided not to patronize the restaurant at that point.

They literally can’t take orders. The menu isn’t even difficult and the cashier still has a hard time. How many years does it take to learn the job?

This place is run down. It's very nasty. Lady was mopping and had so much bleach in the water that our eyes and noses were burning. The 2 cooks look dirty. Walls dirty. Soda and tea splashed on the wall and pictures. Ceiling tiles black and brown from water damage. Soda/ice machine has mold on the outside by the lid. Tea urns have lots of mold on them. Just run down. The owner should be very ashamed. I wanted a shake but I just couldn't. JUST NASTY

Jimmy's has been a fixture in Durham for many years. Best dogs and burgers around in this quick service, made-to-order menu. You have to try the homemade desserts. The 'nanner puddin' is excellent!Parking: Jimmy's lot can be full at lunch or dinner some days. Just indicates how good it is. Building is on a corner and sometimes it is tricky to get out into traffic during busy times. But the food makes it well worth it.

This place was such a surprise! It had the best hamburgers and hot dogs ever. The lady at the counter was so personable. This place is a little hidden secret. We will definitely go back. More stuff on menu to try!
