We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Kabob and Curry in Durham. From the moment we walked in, the service felt genuinely kind and attentive, like being welcomed into someone’s favorite kitchen rather than just another table in a restaurant.
And the food… wow.
The naan was truly to die for. Warm, pillowy, and fresh, it disappeared from the basket faster than we could keep tearing pieces off. The samosas were perfectly crisp and flavorful, with just the right balance of spice, and the chicken tikka was outstanding. Tender, deeply seasoned, and cooked beautifully, every bite was comforting and bold at the same time.
You know those meals that make you pause mid-conversation because everyone is too busy enjoying their food? This was that kind of place.
Amazing food, wonderful service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We’ll absolutely be back. 🍽️✨

This is a terrific restaurant! The staff are friendly and welcoming and each entree I have gotten has been excellent. You can’t go wrong ordering here.
What a wonderful experience we had today! The most delicious Indian/Nepali food in the area. They were so kind to my three year old son. Great Kabobs, melt in the mouth and garlic naan are so fresh! Momos and curries were very delicious.

I miss Blue Corn Cafe, but this place is a worthy successor! Food was well-spiced and veg/vegan options were labeled on the menu.

As a preference, I love Indian and Nepalese food. I was excited to see another curry restaurant in Durham. On my first visit, I asked for medium spicy, knowing it was a new restaurant and not having experienced their level of spiciness before. As someone who loves both spice and flavor, both of the chicken dishes I ordered were very spicy, but had no flavor. The best part of the meal was the garlic naan, which was fine at best. The restaurant did take off one of the dishes from the bill. I likely won’t go back for some time until I hear more about other locals’ experience.
