There’s a lot to digest when formulating a review.Basically this review is a piggyback of many others, but extended.Great drinks. Creativity I haven’t even seen in the other hundreds of bars I’ve been to around the world. Was it life changing? - it’s close to, but no cigar. Great ideas but lacking a certain dimension.So it’s 5:30pm. No cell service which is fine. I was hoping for further engagement from the bartenders but maybe I’m not talkative enough? I don’t exactly wanna call them over when they are chatting amongst themselves when I’m sitting alone. I mean what am I supposed to do? Do Pricey drinks with 20% added service fee grant bartenders a break from talking? Maybe it’s burnout from jazz night that happened a couple nights ago but I certainly don’t feel like asking whether I should bring my own social scene or ask if it’s fine to borrow some of their staff chat time to get to know them more. I shouldn’t have to think conversation would be upon request. I go to a lot of places by myself, and I don’t think this is the place to go solo. I feel like I put more effort into this review than when I was served.Positive takeaways are that the hostess is great, atmosphere is neutral, and there’s some attention to refilling water and snacks, but nothing inquisitive to the customer about the drinks. I’m not even sure if they asked if I like my drinks or not.Anyways, I’ll come back to reevaluate on a different day, maybe with a friend, and I hope my experience gets better as I try to navigate ways to chat with the bartender so I can learn more about the drinks and the bar itself, rather than sitting there in my own thoughts. Please engage a little more - It’s a cocktail bar!

Stellar drinks. Killer atmosphere. Every time I go to King Fisher I feel like I’m transporting to a funky, hidden bar in NYC. My wife and I love visiting for a date night or hitting up up their jazz nights on Tuesdays at 9:00 pm!

Had a GREAT first experience at Kingfisher! The staff was very friendly and helpful in picking out drinks. It feels like a speakeasy vibe, which I loved. My favorite part is how the bar is so much bigger than you initially think. I went with a group of 5 and we were taken to a back room with a circular couch which was a great atmosphere to hang out with friends.

It is not a prerequisite to be rude as a mixologist. The attitude across the board here was rough. Pretentiousness and indifference. Drinks were okay.
