It was hot inside, pretty sure the AC was broken and you’re supposed to close the restaurant. Apparently they didn’t serve the frozen drinks on the menu because of this. Also kind of overpriced

Such a cute place, very tastefully designed. I loved the plants and wooded deck seating, lanterns and creative lighting, as well as the non-plastic containers. Fish bahn mi was bomb. I wanted the fries but I was too full. Good drink options and a really creative and thoughtful menu.

I tried the short rib on me, and it was absolutely delicious. Large portion size, great bread, fresh veggies, perfect flavor combinations. I did order for pick up, but the ambience inside looks like a great place to try out for dine in helpful and kind staff.

KoKyu has definitely earned a spot on my must-visit list every time I am in the area! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with an opened door, open arms and big smiles. As first-timers, we had lots of questions, but the staff was super helpful, answering everything and even offering great recommendations!
I had the Honey Gochujang Chicken Sandwich, and I can confidently say it is the BEST chicken sandwich I have ever had! It was absolutely phenomenal, and I can not wait to have it again and again. This place is a true gem!

Great new find in Durham. They offer food from three or four restaurants in the same place. Great service. They now have dine-in available. This restaurant has been going at it since the pandemic, their food still good and their selections have improved.
