My fiancé and I ordered from their late night menu tonight. Both ordered chicken wings with buffalo and honey sauces. 10/10 would recommend wings. Wow. Great size, crispy and the sauce perfectly coated the wings with little drippage. We also got the green beans and Mac and cheese. Pretty good! Corn bread is moist and tasty. Chili cheese fries were alright. Could’ve used more fry to chili and cheese ratio for the price. The sides are also around $5 and the portions are alittle small imho. Happy eating!

I ride across town to purchase from this restaurant because the food is so similar to my own style of cooking. I don’t use quite as much salt so I have to watch it. That would be my recommendation if I left any at all. The people are kind very curious and professional get down home.

I stopped by Let’s Eat Soul Food last Thursday and ordered a 6-piece wing combo, plain for me and Hot Honey for my friend. My wings were fine, just nothing too memorable, but my friend’s Hot Honey wings were amazing. The honey mustard sauce we got on the side really helped balance out the heat.
We both thought the fries were okay. I think a little more salt would’ve made a big difference. Kayla, our cashier, was super nice and even helped me get a better angle to see the sanitation grade, which I appreciated!
Overall, the food and service were good. I actually went back yesterday to try the Hot Honey wings for myself, and those were a 10/10. Definitely recommend giving them a try!

The hamburger steak use to be a hit alone with ordering the pork chops I was eating from this restaurant at least 2 to 3 times a week don’t know if it’s different cooks or what but I no longer eat there the hamburger steak is extremely loaded with pepper and the size of the pork chops are not worth the price what really causes concerns because you are paying for everything separately so a dinner with 2 sides example pork chops is about $17 now not including the tax dessert or drinks the portions are small you would have to at least spend $30 plus dollars or more just to get full I wish nothing but greatness for this business under the circumstances I just can’t afford to eat here once a week

This was my first experience to soul food, and I have to say that I’ve never tasted anything as good in my life. The lemonade is wonderfully sweetened, and all the different flavors have different levels of sweet or sour, the honey hot made my lips hurt but I couldn’t imagine a better flavor profile. When I tried the blueberry pudding, I couldn’t get any words out and ended up having everyone at the table tried it. Needless to say, we all went back for our own dessert. The workers were such pleasant people, and they even brought us an extra cake towards the end. Just a homely place that we’ll be going back to, the workers will in fact get sick of our big backs.

OH MY GOLLY GOODNESS. Me and my friends just randomly chose to go here on a whim, and OH MY GOSH IT IS SO GOOD. I got the shrimp, it was fried to PERFECTION and seasoned SO GOOD. THERE ARE ONLY TWO PLACES THAT I DIG FOR THE TAIL MEAT IN THE SHRIMP. THIS IS ONE OF THEM. And THEN, I got the COOKIES AND CREAM CAKE which I DIDN'T KNOW WAS A THING THAT EXISTED UNTIL NOW, and BOY THAT RIVALS MY SISTER'S CAKE AND SHE IS A BAKER. (sorry jess) THe employees were SO NICE and the food came out REAL FAST, I am a SIXTEEN YEAR OLD WHITE GIRL BUT I LOVE THIS PLACE, IT IS AMAZING AND I WILL BE COMING BACK.

Had never heard of this place, took a chance on it. One of the best meals I've ever had, portion size, flavor, the whole order was excellent. The staff was knowledgeable, patient, kind, prompt, and took care of everything we asked for with a smile. Can't express how blown away I was. It's about a half hour away from where I stay, I was in the area visiting, it's definitely worth the drive out here, may become a regular.

The best soul food I’ve had in Durham and I was born here! It reminds me of my grandmothers food and I have never said that about anybody’s food! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The customer service was great! The lady at the register was very respectful, professional and attentive. The food was delicious! The homemade lemonade (different flavors) were chef's kiss. The next time I return, I will make sure to buy more of the yummy flavors of lemonade. The prices and portion sizes were decent.

As a visitor, I was excited about getting food from this place. I dined in and decided to order food to take back to my hotel for later. Needless to say that my hamburger steak was uncooked and red in the middle. I called back to tell them and the young lady told me to hold on and never came back TWICE. Highly disappointing!

I have eaten here several times however this was the first time I didn't have a great experience. The cornbread was not fresh. It crumbled to pieces as soon as it was removed from the bag. The cabbage/collards mix was overcooked and mushy and the potato salad taste store bought. Not sure if I will go back. This was the Miami Blvd location.
