Little Bull is a gem in Durham, one of the best and most creative restaurants. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in choosing dishes. The NC crudo, octopus, capirotada dessert, bread + birria dumplings combo, Shrimp and “Halal Guys,” brussels, and rajas were all outstanding. The service was great, with Rocio giving helpful ordering tips. The mocktails were also top-notch. The menu is extensive and features seasonal fruits and vegetables, making each visit fresh and innovative. Diners can enjoy a variety of dishes like corn, arepas, tuna, okra, and the capirotada, which are all highly recommended. However, some dishes like peaches and tomatoes may be bland for some. The atmosphere can be quite lively, with noise levels reaching 115 db, so it’s a good place for those who enjoy a vibrant setting. The restaurant is a popular choice for dinner, especially before a show at DPAC, and offers a great selection of custom cocktails, wine, and dessert options like bread pudding.
