A little hard to find due to very subtle signage, but well worth the hunt.

Nice place to hang out with friends and family to enjoy each other company, try different specialty food and beverages on the menu. Great recommendations from the menu. The servers are helpful and kind. You won't be let down.

Delicious food and great service. Takeout service is good, too! Atmosphere is more intimate than expected but welcomed. A sweet place!

What a wonderful selection of food and drinks!!! A lovely location and restaurant; the service is exceptional!!! The food selections are far from the usual, and delightful, I loved my wild mushroom pizza!!! Highly recommend to all!!?

Great atmosphere, loved the service, and food was decent. I was expecting a bit more. The hush puppies were delicious, but shrimp and grits I was not impressed by. My server was amazing and I'm grateful to the bar for coming up with a tasty Mocktail for me to enjoy.

The past two visits the Brussel sprouts were amazing and I could not wait to have them again. This time they were awful- very mushy and vinegary. So disappointing. We all had salads and they tasted very good. The soup was just ok. We will try again but not as excited to return as we were before.

So glad we had a reservation for a busy Friday night. I had to use my phone light to read the menu. We were seated in a dark corner it seemed like with a small candle on the table. The atmosphere and aesthetics were great otherwise. The food was delicious and based on our server’s, Kendall, recommendation and overall wonderful attentiveness we’ll be coming back for brunch.

AMAZING! How is this first time I've been to this gem of a restaurant?! Very cozy and friendly vibe. The food was amazing. The drinks made just as requested - delicious. Burger was great, beet salad with just right salmon was perfect. Sweet potato fries with hot honey? Yes ma'am! Do not sleep on that apple tart, but also save some more for me. Best dessert I've ever had. I can't say enough about Local 22, and now I totally get why you have to book in advance. Oh - additional plus - so near downtown but plenty of easy parking. See ya next time, Local 22. We're best friends now!

I LOVE Local 22! Been coming here for a few years now. The ambiance feels when you walk through the door, the friendly staff, delicious cocktails, and desserts. Invited my cousin for the first time and she loved everything about it. She fell in love with the lemon drops the Bartender made. She said the bread pudding was the best she had ever had. I'm so glad she enjoyed this place as much as I do. The Angus burger with parmesan fries is a favorite. The hushpuppies are very good. The Ol'North Rye Tye is a fave drink of mine. Please check it out. You will not be disappointed.

Great local place for craft burgers and wine and beer. Sit outside on a nice day and watch the comings and goings of the active community around Duke East Campus. Set in a modern office/condo complex the restaurant is near another popular restaurant and a Harris Teeter, and all the shops on 9th street a block over. Highly recommended.
