More casual atmosphere than I expected, but Claire, our server, more than made up for it! I have several food allergies and dietary needs but Claire was so sweet the whole time and made me feel comfortable asking for what I needed. Re: the food, beans and rice are usually something that just kind of shows up on your plate, but these were genuinely delightful! And the arepas were super yummy too.
One of my fave spots in Durham. I’ve never dined in, but it’s very cute inside. A little loud and overstimulating for me, but that’s not their fault. They have a good amount of outdoor seating as well. I live nearby and love ordering pickup here for a quick, delicious meal. The staff are always very friendly, and the food is amazing. The prices are well worth it for the quality of food and portion sizes. Fantastic place.
I stumbled upon this gem on a Tuesday and ended up going back later that same week because the food was so delicious. Everything that I have tried upto this point was fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth returning for. So glad I found this place!
