A room full of pros, people that know what they're doing...that's what we were saying in our party about Tess and company. They never disappoint!!!

A fantastic meal and at a good price. Tori was my go to place in downtown Durham for a nice place, but I think M Pocha has overtaken it for where I bring visiting family and friends.

We love M Pocha! Super tasty food, very nice service! Maybe music is too loud sometimes, but overall is a really good place to have lunch or dinner.

The pre fix Valentine meal had a taste of everything and allowed us to experience the restaurant and vibe.

One of the best grazing restaurants around, regardless of cuisine. Fun, casual atmosphere.

For date night with my wife, it was SPECTACULAR! The service by Abby was ‘on-point' and amazing, the food, flavorful and more than tasty (*Kudos to the chefs!), and the entire experience, including ambiance ... 10 out of 10. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back! Thank you M Pocha!

The food was absolutely amazing and it was extremely obvious that it was high quality. I was pleasantly surprised at the quaint and cozy atmosphere, I guess i was expecting some large space that was ultra formal but nope (and im happy about that) :)

M Pocha is a vibrant celebration of Asian-inspired street foods that will transport your taste buds straight to the bustling night markets of Asia. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere of the place hits you—the sleek, modern decor combined with the inviting warmth of the staff with aroma of flavorful dishes.

What makes M Pocha truly special is its focus on the best of Asian street food with a contemporary twist. The menu is an exciting array of small, shareable plates, allowing you to dive into a variety of street food favorites, each with its own unique spin. The Korean fried chicken is a standout—crispy, juicy, and coated in a perfect balance of sweet and spicy sauce that will have you reaching for more with every bite.

My ultimate favorite was the bao buns are another must-try, featuring soft steamed buns filled with flavorful fillings like crispy pork. Each bite is a delightful mix of textures and flavors, with the richness of the meat balanced by the bright freshness of the pickled vegetables.

The drink menu at M Pocha is just as exciting, with a mix of craft cocktails.

M Pocha truly captures the essence of Asian street food, blending the energy and creativity of street vendors with the quality and care of fine dining. The dishes are bold, exciting, and bursting with flavor, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the vibrant tastes of Asia right here in Durham.

4.5 really.
food was quite tasty, I recommend the octopus karaage
place is tight, recommend a reservation
negative 0.5 since some of our food took a while to come, and cause it was so loud in there it was hard to hear each other.
parking is street parking no private lot.

My boyfriend and I went to dinner at M Pocha last night expecting great food, but unfortunately we left disappointed.

We got the Gai Lan, which had a nice flavor but was very small. Next was the Meat Mandu, which tasted like frozen dumplings from the grocery store.

For our meals we had the Shrimp Toast and Spicy Pork Buns, which were okay but nothing special.

We spent $100 for food + drinks. Overall, for the price it’s not worth it.

This is OK for Korean fusion, but it's not great Korean food. The kimchi onigiri didn't really taste like kimchi and was overpowered by furikaki (Japanese seasoning) and a sauce that was too sweet. The japchae didn't taste like any japchae I have had and was way too sweet with way too much soy sauce. The beauty of Korean food is the unique umami flavors with only a hint of soy sauce and sweetness. If you think this is good Korean food, I recommend going to a Korean restaurant in Virginia or California to appreciate the real thing.

This is my new favorite restaurant in downtown Durham! Everyone recommended the pork buns for good reason and I'd add the broccoli to the list of “must haves” too. But everything we ordered was great!
