Best sushi in Durham by far, but you'll be paying for it. As someone who has had sushi in Japan, this compares pretty well to the average sushi restaurant in Tokyo, which is to say, quite good. I recommend the rolls, which were all flavorful and filling.

M sushi is the finest in Asian cuisine that Durham has to offer, and it rivals other greats across the country. Chef Michael Lee has brought true excellence to the Triangle with his group of “M Restaurants”. This one in particular is the most special of his spots in terms of atmosphere, service, and food. Parking is very convenient and inexpensive at the Chapel Hill St garage or parking lot right behind the restaurant

A cannot beat lunch deal - great selection and high quality food served quickly and at a great price. The ambiance is chill - I actually prefer to do lunch here rather than dinner. Don't miss the miso soup and anything with blue fin tuna. A go to Durham classic!
