My favorite boba place in Durham! They have multiple milk options if you're vegan/dairy-free. I've taken multiple friends there, including people who are weirded out by boba, and they can still get something they like (hot chocolate, normal tea, etc). Cute seating area by the big window plus more quiet spots in the back.

Came here a couple days ago with my family & we enjoyed delicious Brown Sugar Black Milk Teas. Thought to come back today & bring someone else to try it but we were both HIGHLY disappointed. Firstly, the drink was warm although it did had very little ice in it. Secondly, it wasn't sweet at all. We requested to get another one made & the same two problems occurred. We ended up just asking for a cup of ice & suffered through it. We were informed that the recipe in the drink was changed by the manager. Horrible experience especially given the high price of the drinks. I usually have great experiences coming to this Milklab but after this visit, I do not think I will be returning.

They have 3 employees with a big line and a lot of people waiting. The employees are slow and just playing around inside.and the tea doesn't even tasted like supposed to. Never again.

I had the Expresso milk tea. The drink at 100% was too sweet, overpowering the taste of the espresso. I thought it would be a unique take on boba and espresso but I was wrong.Sizing is deceiving for online orders. You have regular and large. The regular is not regular at all, more like an 8oz or smaller cup. With ice and topping, you don’t get much volume. $8/drink for that size is not good value. There are too many good boba options in the area to return.Parking: Sunday afternoon was busy. All front of store spots were taken.

People are nice but they seem to get simple orders wrong recently. My last two orders from this place have been missing items I’ve paid extra for. If I’m paying extra for boba pearls or a milk cap, it’d be nice to get it with my drinks.

This place is TOXIC. Last time I went in and ordered two simple fruit tea that made them 30mins to finish. This time a pickup order and one of the hot drink is not properly capped, spilling the milk cap all over the cup holder and floor in my car. Go to the other milklab places don’t come to this one.

AMAZING! I honestly was not expecting to love this place as much as I do when I first tried it today. I tried all three of these flavors and the matcha strawberry latte with almond milk and strawberry jelly was my favorite!I love that there is no up-charge for the amount of ice or for the use of non dairy. The add ins are a 75 cent fee but they give a great amount!! which i loved, plenty of boba and jellies!Service was also very pleasant and were patient on making sure we ordered the best drinks! Its located in south-point mall which is perfect after a long day of shopping !

Very cute ambiance and feel on the inside. The rolled ice cream is definitely big enough for a party of two. My favorite part was the sprinkles on top; they added a great deal of flavor to the ice cream

Tarro coconut pudding was absolutely delicious. We requested them to make it with Oat Milk instead of regular milk and it was turned out amazing.Dietary restrictions: They do offer plant based milk for their boba teas

Tea is amazing but they underpay and understaff. Used to be a daily thing for me but I won't be coming back until they can fix how they treat their most important asset. I can make the tea myself.

The drinks are pretty good and I appreciate that they try to use high quality ingredients. But I have tried the boba 50% sweet and it was way too sweet for me, so next time I got it 25% but it tasted exactly the same. Today I got it unsweetened and it tastes exactly the same and is extremely sweet???? I don't understand what's going on. Maybe they premix sugar into the tea mix??? I won't be back as I hate overly sweet drinks.

MILKLAB was much hyped, but disappointing on my first visit. The walls, waiting area and ceiling were painted black, but with that "one coat and a roller, no sanding" half-job that shows every chip and defect in the wall. The result is a real "in the club after the lights come on at 3 a.m." vibe. The fluorescent overhead office lights don't match the bar lighting. The staff was friendly but overwhelmed - always at least five or six orders behind. They needed more support. We ended up waiting 20 minutes for three drinks. The drinks were as advertised, and about $20 for 3 drinks and a tip. Roughly fancy Starbucks prices. And honestly, the drinks were good, but the vibe and execution make this a tough sell for a repeat visit.tl;dr: interesting concept, poor execution.Vegetarian options: All milk can become non-milk upon request.
