Family got bbq from the establishment next door so I did a take out order of a big burrito. It’s nice because cheese and sour cream are added (paid) extras so you don’t have to worry about them accidentally adding them if you don’t pay for them. The takeout was ready when it said it would be and the vegan chorizo had good flavor but other than the chorizo, it was pretty bland. I would be concerned if you did just roasted veggies (I almost did this) as it might lack a ton of flavor. But I will try that selection next time out of curiosity and update my review accordingly.
Went here for the first time in over a decade the other day
The tacos were ok, but the corn tortillas were delicious!
The Mexican chocolate spicy milkshake was also delicious, but too thick for the tiny straw they gave me - they could definitely use some bigger straws!
I'd love to say I'll be back, but the location/parking makes it kinda difficult.

NavoTaco in Durham is a must-visit if you’re looking for excellent food and a laid-back atmosphere. While the service was a bit slow during my visit, the wait was absolutely worth it. The quality of the food more than made up for the slight delay. Each dish was packed with fresh flavors, and the tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had. You can tell they put care into the preparation and ingredients.
The variety on the menu allowed me to try a few different items, and everything was delicious. The tacos were perfectly seasoned, and the portion sizes were just right. Whether you’re in the mood for classic options or something a bit more adventurous, NavoTaco does not disappoint.
The overall experience was one of the best I’ve had in the Durham area. The food was outstanding, and the casual, relaxed vibe made it a great spot to enjoy a meal. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend giving NavoTaco a try—it’s definitely worth it!!!

The duck quesadilla was great! But the restaurant messed up my husbands order, and the street corn dip was laughably disappointing. It was $9 for about 30 cents of canned corn. It did not taste good and was a tiny amount, in one of the same ramekins as their house salsa.

Why was nobody in the kitchen wearing gloves? I sent my meal back before even trying it. Food did not look appealing and again, why no gloves??

Yummy food, friendly service, fun atmosphere. The drinks were a little pricey but tasted great. We got mango margaritas, tacos, queso and street corn. I like the portion size and food quality. The beef taco meat wasn’t what I expected consistency wise but still tasted good. I would recommend fried shrimp instead of grilled for the taco but again still tastes great. The restaurant was busy. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. You can order from your table with an app or from a server. There’s a nice self serve area full of a big variety of hot sauces. This place is perfect for a date night or family. Kid friendly although indoors the noise level is moderate. There are a few TVs with sports playing. Would recommend this place and will be back.

If you want authentic Mexican food, don’t come here. The atmosphere was amazing and everything was so pretty but the quality of the food wasn’t the best we ordered salsa verde and it was watery and had no taste, the tacos we ordered were dry, and the esquite we ordered barely had any cheese on it. They don’t have traditional Mexican food on their menu, they had meats like rotisserie chicken and garlic beef on their menu but no carne asada or Al pastor (traditional Mexican meats) I wouldn’t come here if you want authentic Mexican food, and it can be a little pricey.
We tried the grilled fish burrito bowl, the burrito bowl portion was good, though the grilled fish didn't taste very fresh, was very chewy (tasted more like meat than fish).
But the service was wonderful, very quick. They have a huge variety of hot sauces that one could try from. Also, their chips and salsa was good.

A local taco icon, with outdoor seating with doggy water bowls, across from my favorite wine store. Chorizo tacos, pulled pork quesadillas. Yes.
