It was late afternoon and I needed to eat something quick. Drove to the drive through and waited, didn’t see any intercom or speaker so drove around. Stopped at another area with a glass window but no one was working there. Just pulled around and hoped someone at the final window could take my order. There were 2 cars ahead and it took awhile to reach the end.Ordered the chicken sandwich with some kind of sauce on it. Drove to the side parking lot to just eat it in the car.The chicken was cold and the rest of the sandwich was just plain: no lettuce or pickle.I ate it anyway but don’t recommend. $7.30 total

The Customer Service here is exceptional. The staff that work the shift of 1/14/2024 at 2pm was on point. The food was hot and entire restaurant was very very clean. A lot of local restaurants could learn from them. PDQ is here to stay and they got something to say. All the staff needs a raise!!!!!!Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is open and very accessible to wheelchairs. The main entrance is handicap accessible.

The store was empty, when we went through the drive-thru at 11:30 on a Saturday ordering one chicken strip meal. They didn't tell us anything about a weight when we ordered, but when we came to the window, she said our hot food would be right out and please pull forward. We waited another 10 minutes for our chicken.

Tan through the drive thru for lunch and on a Thursday at 2:45pm ish and nobody was at the window to take my order. I honk. I see people through the window at the front. I wait. I wait. I drive around to see 3-4 cars lined up past where they are supposed to get their food and then watch an employee come out with bags for one car. I drive up to the food window and wait and wait. Finally a gentleman in a black tshirt walks up frantically and asks me for my order. Im like there is nobody at the order window. I see behind him a chick in uniform just standing there. He says he is the manager. His black tshirt looks dirty with food all day flour all over the front and he looks disheveled. He says $14 for a chicken sandwich. Dude nah. No thanks. Get your act together!!

If you thinking about eating here i highly recommend saving your money. They are way overpriced and skimp you on your fries and only hire convicts. So if your cool with convicts making your food and paying 15 for a regular chicken sandwhich and fries then yeah this is your go to. Something seriously needs to be done about the pricing for fast food. Why dont I just go eat across the street at red robin its the dame price for a sit down restaurant atleast they have bottomless fries. I coulda ate sushi for the price I just payed at pdq and the chicken sandwhich falls apart in my hand as soon as i take out package. Gotta love it…

PDQ Durham located at 3301 Watkins Rd, Durham, NC 27707 has fantastic chicken sandwiches!!! One of the best of the best fried Chicken sandwiches I’ve had basically ever. Perfect crunchy breading, cooked juicy, and the thing was really large too! Only change would be I’d make it just a touch less salty, but perfect otherwise. I don’t like much sodium at all, so for most it’s perfection. I didn’t get the zucchini fries but will next time. Their prices are pretty low too for what quality is given.Staff was friendly too! Seats comfortable and the shops is spacious. Great food spot! I’d also recommend using closed caption for the various TV sets. Store temperature was perfect too.Parking: Lots of spotsWheelchair accessibility: Yes

Mind you.. it’s been about 35 mins.. walked to Freddy’s right next door to pick up my online order came back and my husband is still waiting. Watched 4 vehicles leave after already paying. They are not even going up to the drive thru window.. my son is starving and we already paid… this is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS and unacceptable. I would understand a bit more if it was busy… but it is not.
Walked up to the counter. Zero acknowledgement from staff. Asked if I was in the right place to put in an order, someone from the kitchen shouted "be right with you". Staff approached to get my order, couldn't understand a word he said. Had to ask multiple times to repeat himself. Finally got my order in. Family pack. Comes with lots of stuff. Waiting for my order patiently. One bag comes out. Staff doesn't say anything. Asked if this was my order. Someone from the back of the kitchen shouted that more is coming. Another bag comes out. Again the woman working doesn't say a word, just plops it down. I again ask if this was it. Same guy from the kitchen shouts that more is coming. Third bag comes out. Woman again plops it down, doesn't make eye contact, acknowledge, or say a word. Just puts it down and walks away. For the third time, I'm asking if this was it. Woman doesn't turn around, just puts up a thumbs ? while she does something else. LOL ? hilarious interaction. But WTH? She must have been having a really rough day.
