I grew up in NC and unfortunately there are not so many places like Roy's around any more. But the food speaks for itself. The catfish was perfect, service was great, can't complain about a thing. Prices? Worth it. You get what you pay for.

The soul food is so damn good I thought my auntie and grandma were back there cooking. This is the ultimate example of a food coma better known as the itis. I got the fried chicken w/ mac & cheese and collard greens. My goodness...speechless. Not one person in my group had any complaints about their food. With every bite you could just tell everything was made fresh and seasoned to perfection. The whole table was quiet as we devoured our food. This is how you do soul food. Period. Don't even ask if I'll be back...you already know the answer.
